The Producers:

Nothing goes over my head—reflexes are too fast.
Is watching...

What. the. fuck am I watching?

"I'M NOT GONNA JUMP ON YOU"

I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THESE CHARACTERS INTERACT! WHAT'S WRONG WITH THEIR MINDS? DO THEY HAVE SOME PERSONALITY DISORDER?

What do you mean you're hysterical?!

Why is Bialystok taking him on a date? ... Why does Bialystok exist in my spellchecker, but spellchecker doesn't?

Leo. You really put the pathetic in sympathetic. "I spend my live counting other's money. People I'm smarter than. Better than." Egghead is what you are, Leo. You're out of your depth...

People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it.
Which version are you watching? The old one or the new one?
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.

I've just finished watching both.

This is the most offensive show I've ever seen.

It's also hilarious.

"WHO DO I HAVE TO FUCK TO MAKE IT IN THIS STINKIN TOWN!"

Keep it gay... I have mixed feelings about that clip.

And I'm not sure which of the two Hitlers is the funniest. The first was a rock star... the second acted like an actress who just won an Oscar or something. He seems so happy and yet embarassed and blushy... is he from Hetalia?

PAAAAAASTAAAA!

No, the second one is gay.

And as a note my High School drama guild put on the stage version of the Producers. I played Max. I am also tall and very skinny. My friend who is squat/fat played Leo. It was hilarious.

No, the second one is gay.

He's camp, but there's no indication that he wants to have sex with men. His enormous romantic crush on Hitler may very well be entirely platonic, and there's no indication that he has gender identity issues either.

The people at the director's were clearly gay, on top of being camp, but that's because they actually performed sexual advances on each other.

How can such a terrible director be so rich anyway?

I always thought it was a play on how every Broadway director is gay.

Bit of a blanket generalization here don't you think?
People can stand what is true, for they are already enduring it.
You mean satire can work on something other than blanket generalizations?

Yes, Minister. Genuine humor requires effort and wit. Not smug smarmy sneering. In fact, the best humor is the humor that isn't actually at anyone's expense.

[up]HUH? its based on broadway so character interactions are fast paced and energetic like in a musical. in the first version LSD is a very liberal hippie actor playing a cruel dictator in the second version LSD isnt gay 'for' hitler he's just a effininate actor 'playing' hitler (hilarity ensues) franz liebkind is the only real nazi character who wrote the play, springtime for hilter, which LSD's portrayal of hitler (beatnik or gay) turns into a humorous farce.

[up]I think you're confused. In the second one Franz Liebkind played Hitler himself, IIRC. It was the director who was gay.

The system doesn't know you right now, so no post button for you.
You need to Get Known to get one of those.
