I'm not familiar with the novels, but the concept looks interesting enough.
Likes many underrated webcomicsThe novels are pretty great in my opinion. I hope this turns out well.
AWESOME. I remember my friend let me borrow one of these books and I really liked it. I wonder how they'll incorporate the allomancy in gameplay?
The novels are badass, though I'll be interested to see how the magic system works in action-RPG form. The game's being written by Brandon Sanderson, the author of the novels, so I expect the story to be good even if the game is crappy — but Sanderson is definitely One Of Us and on his blog he mentions being really impressed with the stuff Little Orbit has shown him so far, so I have pretty high hopes for the game in general.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Oh god yes. It's the most brilliant thing I've ever read.
"Oh great! Let's pile up all the useless cats and hope a tree falls on them!"It sounds really nice...I hope it delivers.
Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning.I really need to buy his novels sometime soon.
I'm really torn. On the one hand, I like Brandon Sanderson's books, and the first Mistborn was great. On the other hand, the second and third were not as good, and there have been precious few book to game moves that worked. On the first hand again, the fourth Mistborn book was absolutely amazing, and Sanderson did write the story for that one iOS game.
tl;dr: Not sure if want.
I've never heard of these novels, but the title made me think of the AD&D campaign setting Birthright.
Am I the only one?
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be.Considering the title of the game is Birthright...
