No she's not, that's just a Plot Hole in Battle of Gods. She's 16 at the start of the series and 45 when Battle of Gods is set.

Is Battle of Gods Vegeta the GT version who's way taller and has shorter hair? I'm trying to tell from the bingo clip. He certainly looks different but maybe that's just the superior animation.

Fair enough then. I still don't have any real desire to see this movie. I'll just be tempted to get into power levels debates and I don't want that.

After the mistaken reporting of "its a story Toriyama wanted to include in the original serialisation" I think the canon debates are going to be much worse.

I've heard people rationalize that as a lie before but that really doesn't fit the context of the scene, especially Kuririn's comment. It's just another screw-up like Mai's age and the children's appearances.

A better explanation would be that she's trashed and got her own age wrong. But I feel I might use the "they're fucking blitzed" excuse too often to explain Battle of Gods' inconsistencies.

Dunno, man, seems perfectly in-character for Bulma to lie even in that situation. There's no way on Earth Toriyama could think she's 30something. It's just downright baffling if he did. Gohan's 20something, add that to Bulma starting the series at 16 and you're already at late 30s. When you then factor in that Gohan was born years after she met Goku it makes it obvious she'd be in her 40s.

Yeah, it wouldn't seem out of character for Bulma to lie about her age. I mean she did get very pissed at Goku at just the fact he mentioned she looked old after the ten year skip from the end of Majin Boo arc. But to fair she was old. I mean, she was in her fifties.

It's not about being out of character - I didn't say that. It's about not making any damn sense.

She refused to say her age to Kuririn, lets it slip against Beerus, and Kuririn responds "oh, so that's how old she is". The joke is that she got so angry she let out her age, which Kuririn had been wondering this whole time. It doesn't work if she was lying, and doesn't match how any of the scenes are portrayed.

Yeah, I remember the scene. I, however, put forth that Krillin knows nothing and just heard a number he thought was high enough to be her age.

That character from Xenoverse looks like the most stereotypical fanfiction DBZ character of them all. Piccolo's cape? Check. Super Saiyan GOD hair? Check. Scouter? Check. Trunks' uniform? Check. Really, all he's missing is being Broly's son and having Trunks' sword (bonus points if he has a tail).
