@Rinsankajugin: Knowing DB Heroes, I totally could have bought Golden Cell or SSJ4 Black.

This song needs more love.I can see Blue Kaioken being used in the manga in the Goku vs Merged Zamasu clash, with Goku getting his body wrecked in the process.
But Blue Kaioken, or even Blue, being used in every single fight? Pass, the manga did a nice job bringing back God; divine-level power being used somewhat sparingly, and skill being an important factor for once, make the fights more enjoyable.
I miss the big power-ups and charging they all did like when Future Trunks went Broly against Perfect Cell, Goku going Super Saiyan 3 or Piccolo battling 17.
I just feel as though things lack impact.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Almost all big power-up scenes weren't originally in the manga. Goku's first Super Saiyan transformation happened in one panel, off-panel.
It's difficult to make power-ups interesting in a static medium.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I get one-panel, but what do you mean off-panel? We saw it happen in the manga, it was just quick without fuss.
Good thing the anime padded it out.
Cause like while Goku's transformation into SS 3 was long it was still pretty awesome, specially Sean's epic screaming and the SS 3 theme playing.
I'm kinda worried about how Kai is gonna show it like if the screaming is still gonna be as great and the music that's gonna be playing.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Considering how much people in this series scream, I'm surprised mouth blasts stopped being a thing and there are no sound based attacks.
Also fun things: Gohan's kamehameha duel with Cell didn't even last one entire chapter.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariIt also didn't have the rest of the Z-Fighters joining in and making heartfelt speeches about how much Goku & Gohan mean to them and that they'll fight to the last breath if they can help Gohan no matter how futile it is right?
Ah the Solar Kamehameha vs. the Father-Son Kamehameha, now that was good television. Awesomeness all around to the point even Yamcha got some cool points & without a doubt Gohan's greatest moment.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I guess there are some things the anime does better and how.
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."I could be wrong, but I don't think Goku and Piccolo ever took driving lessons in the manga. So, that's one area the anime improved on.
De Romanīs, lingua Latina gloriosa non fuī.I greatly prefer the anime over the manga. Compared to anime, manga feels like a bare bones, version of the story.
The anime is padded as phuck. Yeah, it doesn't have as much filler as modern anime tend to compared to the length, but it has a crapload more padding to compensate.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariThat is a good point but not all the filler is bad especially aforementioned driving episode.
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."That would be Z right?
How is Kai in that regard?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Not all of it is bad. What I am saying is that there's less filler and more padding.
As in, there's less 'plots that weren't in the manga' and more 'extended scenes, longer scenes, extended reaction shots' and stuff along that line. Plus it introduces the erroneous idea that Goku can be hurt with a rock just because he's not paying attention.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariBullets cannot harm Goku yet alone rocks.
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."At least it doesn't stop in the middle of a fight to start a completely unrelated filler arc like some series that will not be named here.
And also at least the padding isn't repeating the exact same scene we saw a minute ago except with a sepia filter over it.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariCome me a contrarian but Dragon Ball Super has the opposite problem from the original anime and Kai. Super goes way too fast in later without giving me anytime to process what happened. If Super were more like Z, the Z Senshi vs Goku Black and Zamasu battle would taken twenty episodes with with extra padding and pointless filler scenes.
"We are just like Irregular Data. And that applies to you too, Ri CO. And as for you, Player... your job is to correct Irregular Data."On the other hand, it would at least feel like a gruelling battle instead of moving way too fast and smoothly to have any real impact.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariThe characters don't take as much visible damage or injury.
Actually one thing I dislike about Future Trunks taking down Merged Zamasu is how fine he looks. Compared to othe climcatic battles I do not like how he only has miner scrapes & bruises. Seriously his jacket is completly fine aside from a couple cuts.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
Wait a minute, how did Vegeta get into a suit and tie?
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue.
