Sometimes replace Trunks with Krillin, and you have the main cast of "People who actually did things" throughout most of Z. Really, it's just Gohan and Piccolo who have been particularly left out. They're the only ones where if you go straight from the Buu Saga to Super, it's surprising they're not as involved in the plot as they used to be.

And Goten and Trunks have been underutilised, but they've been like that since Gotenks was introduced to be a gag character.

Dragon Ball Fusions Battle System Trailer:

It's a turn-based arena battle system, where you try to utilize attacks and skills to knock your opponents out of the stage ring. You can even knock your opponents into your teammates or each other, and you can do various team attacks as well as the previously mentioned Maxi-Fusion. The game's 334 characters are divided by 3 types: Power, Speed and Technique. Attack someone with the opposing type will give you a x1.5 raise on damage.

That looks shitty. Should've just been a straight fighter or a traditional JRPG. This battle system is needlessly gimmicky.

(2) I could kind of tell from the chibi art style this game wasn't going to be the next Tenkaichi. This battle system is fitting. There's simply too many fusion combinations to provide any sort of balance, making it into a standard fighter wouldn't work. There'd be a ridiculous amount of copy and paste moves between characters.

And what system is this on, the 3DS? Yeah, a standard fighter would've been a bad idea.

That said, they should be ashamed for only getting the roster up to 334.

...huh, GT Bra is a playable character in this, despite the fact she's never fought at all in the series.

Babidi was a fighter in Budokai Tenkaichi 3 though.

Yes, but at least we saw him use magic, specifically magic used to kill a guy, which would be useful in a fight (especially since his Blast 2's were him simply summoning Pui Pui and Yakon to fight for him). Bra however has only ever shown off the ability to fly and absolutely nothing else.

If it's legit, Black's pink Super Saiyan form works pretty well.

Actually, i wonder why he hasn't used it yet.

Same reason Goku hasn't use his Blue-per Saiyan yet.

No reason to. In the case of fighting Trunks, he didn't need it. In the case of fighting Goku, the fight didn't reach the point where either got to use their full power.

Or maybe he doesn't even have it yet.

"Fusions" looks interesting. It's rare you get a CRPG with free flight. I won't be surprised if it's overly gimmicky though.

Apparently an event happened in Japan that showed off some stuff for Super Dragon Ball Heroes!

First off, we have a better look at Demigra’s new form, which is very eerie. Next up, the reveal of Time Patrol Gohan, and goddamn does he look badass in those glasses. Also, Time Patrol Trunks has a new look, a sleeker coat and longer hair. And most surprising of all, Young Bulma is coming to the game, in her iconic wild rider outfit. Also, Saikyo Jump is gonna continue the DBH manga under the Super DBH name.

Well, punch is too nice. Obliterate into ash is more accurate, but you get the point.

At first I was going to ask what Bulma's ultimate would be. Then I thought it might be something like Hercule's so I went to look for that, because I haven't played Budokai in a long time. And that brought me here:

Budokai 2 might be the best Dragonball game of all time, at least in regard to its creativity with/animation of the finishing moves.

So Trunks finally found out Krillin and 18 are married.

I never played Budokai 2 before and I never knew that it shared some animations with the third game. It's interesting to see how Budokai 3 cleaned them up.

How he react?

He...didn't try to hit her did he? Cause that would be awkward.

I think the only things left for him to find out are that his younger self is already a Super Saiyan, Goten, and of course, Gotenks.
