I'm not sure I follow. Okayado put the fan-translator into the manga?
It's been fun.Yes. He's shown up before.
I think he actually got known for being a massive polt fan and then took over translation from someone else.
To clarify, the fan translator is a superfan of Polt's. He's fluent in Japanese(obviously), and has moved to Japan for the last few years(study/work). He's also met Okayado at signing sessions, during one of which, he handed over a ring, which Okayado accepted on Polt's behalf.(alternatively, this exchange may have only happened over Twitter D Ms). He first showed up in the "Miia looks for a job" chapter, wherein he gets his spine realigned while doing Lamia exercises. Then again during the vampire arc, he's working at the expo, helping promote the gym. The most recent appearance has him flying to America with Polt for business expansion. Them being unavailable is why Kurusu and gang have been recruited by Yukio for this chapter.
Now out in English on Manga dex

So... That was a chapter.
Who would have known that the way to stop bunch of Succubi to have sex in onsen is the question, "What are you doing and why you're doing it in onsen"?
Also, LUKEWARM SAUNA?!! BLASEPHMY!!
I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person.Chapter 65 raw is out on Comic Ryuu website. More fan inserts. Including 3 really lucky guys who got spotlighted for the chapter.
Chapter 66. Featuring the return of Oct(the octopus, so spoiler doesn't give it away)
Oh wow, it's alive again.
It's been fun.So I went from being kinda obsessed with this series to more or less forgetting about it, and I suspect the same happened to several other fans. I think I stopped following after the news of Okayado's hiatus (that ended very quickly) and the fact that we're never going to get Season 2 of the anime, since nobody cares about monster girls anymore (though animal/anthro girls are OK for some reason).
Or maybe I just got tired of these "slice of life" stories where nothing gets ever actually resolved and characters end up doing the same things forever. Who knows? I just don't know if I should go back to it, to keep my mind occupied with nice harmless fluff, or just forget it like I've done with several other things.
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.Yeah, honestly, pretty much nothing happens anymore. The cast keep getting thrown into wacky sitcom miniplots that don't really do much to advance either the main story or any characters' arcs, so it all feels kind of pointless now.
There IS a new monster girl series airing in July, though. Monster Girl Doctor.
It's been fun. That's why I was losing interest as well. Even slice of life works need some direction or sense of story progress or it becomes a chore to read.
Watched that trailer. So we have a centaur knight, a bird-girl with a short name, a shy cyclops, a sensitive flesh golem frankenlady, a busty mature lady named "Arahnia Taranterra Arachnida"... what's this, some kind of rip-off set in medieval times? Sorry but I'll pass.
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.I actually only picked up the (anime) series within nthe last year. I may read the manga because the setting is some needed sweetness in the world. It'd better end with a Marry Them All ending, though.
Also, I hope Rachnera and Centorea (aka best girls) grow closer than last we see them in the show.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyUnfortunately, I think you've seen just about all the character development and plot advancement there is in the series. There certainly isn't too much more of it in the manga since the anime ended.
It's been fun. It's no secret that the author/artist is a fan of Okayado's(though he's more notable for works of an uh, unbleached underpants variety.) It's closer to a "tribute band" formed by a peer. Okayado himself has no issue with promoting it on his twitter, and even seems to be a fan himself(or less charitably, you could say he has a vested interest in its success since it does indirectly benefit him).
Shoot, given how bored I am of the actual Monmusu I'll gladly take this spin on it.
Well, we have a few new chapters out. It seems like Okayado's finally grown tired of milking revisiting the hot spring inn, and now we're starting... something else, involving high fantasy?
The official Chapter 68 is out. New centaur is Alucia, named after the Andalussian race horse breed.
Edit: Also now out in English unofficial, and they went with Alusia.

Chapter 69 is out, with a Nightmare. Also the return of one of the onsen guest's girlfriends the Baku/tapir
69 has been out in English(unofficially) for about a month. 70(J) features a Heavyweight Centaur country gal, finally.
I don't know why anyone didn't say this earlier, but :
Chapter 69. Nice.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyHeavyweight is Shuron Du Pell(Pell Shuron/Percheron, geddit?)
Update: Scanlation for 70 is out.

Chapter 71 is out on the comic-ryu site, dairy centaur. Mare-mil(mare milk).
I really enjoyed chapter 65. It's great to see other male humans earning the companionship of the extraspecies now that the manga's outlived the need to have solely nasty humans to make Kimihito look good. The 3 buddies have nice chemistry with each other and their paramours as well, made me root for them all in the end. And of course it's also nice to see the Snow Woman's Inn running smoothly.
No, no, Okayado just... did that.
