A) According to their website, BBC parliament did show some proceedings last month but no more.

B) So far, reading the memoranda ranges from interesting to humourous. I have read a couple that made me wonder if they just got people online to send anything in. I swear that one paragraph was just a long winded way of saying "I'm not homophobic but...eurgh!".

I can't find anything online for coverage of the end of the committee stage and the report. But I have managed to locate what I think is a final list of proposed amendments. I believe Gordon Birtwistle's opposition stems not only from his age, but also he's fairly religious and his constituency's religious leaders coming out against it.
