Haven't gotten the chance to watch the whole episode.

Might as well comment: Brain switch idea was funny, though I much more preferred parts with Kraang-as-Raph. I wonder if it could be funnier if they averted Voices Are Mental.

Comedy aside, idea was just a little wasted. We learned nothing new about Kraang.

I'm so glad they fixed pigeon guy at the beginning. This show usually has no qualms when it comes to ruining people's lives due to alien tech.

Was it really necessary for turtles to attack that monster? They almost got themselves killed.

I am not getting used to Leo's new voice. Original was too good.

I just saw a clip featuring Leo's new voice, and I have to agree - it's a serious step down from the voice actor they were using previously.

The actor they have right now is someone other than Seth Green who's going to be taking over for Leo later, right? Meaning his Leo's voice might get better, yet?

I wish they'd done some more with the Kraang body switching, too. We could have seen some more details of Kraang life and how they tick.

I loved the moment where the Kraang in Raphael's body was longingly staring at its "monstrous" new reflection, that was adorable. I thought they might be headed for a plot twist where it actually helped the turtles fix things, since it obviously wanted its old body back, but that seemed to be forgotten completely by the final fight.

Hold the phone, that was a LEGIT spoiler? I thought some guy made it up. All I heard was some guy who read some other guy's thing saying that Playmates was releasing a Mutant Karai figure. I just dismissed it. I may need to find that guy now...

To be honest, it was foreshadowed a while ago.

And damn..it was depressing, because you saw it coming.

Still, it's a bit of a big deal. Do you know how long it's been since we had a female mutant in this franchise? YES I KNOW WHY!

So that playmates spoiler was real? Huh

So anyway, was it depressing because it was predictable or just depressing?

^^TMNT IDW had two. Again, nobody here reads TMNT IDW comic tongue

Anyway, I see that Shredder is practicing his supervillain-y

"Mwhahaaha, I'll have Baxter create large vat of mutagen so I can have turtles mutated into SNAKES! Now I'll put my "daughter" as bait on top of the vat!"

Seriously, he was kinda asking for that, was there any reason for him to need hang Karai over the mutagen vat? tongue And seriously, his "final mutation" he told to Baxter to do is really cheesy

I can safely assume Shredder WANTED that to happen. He doesn't care what happens to Karai, she's just another minion to him.

She's worse than a minion - she's a tool he was using to taunt Splinter.

^^Umm, no he didn't, he was like "Karai NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and "THIS IS YOUR FAULT SPLINTER EVEN THOUGH ITS TOTALLY MY FAULT JUST LIKE WHEN YOUR WIFE DIED" tongue

Apparently he does feel affection for Karai? I guess Shredder is just that stupidly entitled that he feels like Tang Shen would have loved him if Splinter had died and that Karai is rightfully his as result or something? I mean, Shredder seems to be kind of in denial about what is his fault and what so I wouldn't be surprised if he is in denial about everything related to Tang Shen. Or at least he really believes his own lies about Splinter.*shrugs*

Could be anger that as a mutant, Karai's gone feral and is useless to him now.

There is something to be said about how realistically, Karai's mutation is only temporary since unless mutagen goes away entirely, we should all be expecting that it's only a matter of time before they collect enough of the stuff so that Don can whip up another batch of retro-mutagen and turn Karai human again.

One of the fun things about a new adaption is the freedom to play characters in new, unique, and interesting ways. Hello, Krang as an evil invading species and Karai as actually being Spinter's daughter.

That first one isn't new. They just took the Utroms and renamed them to appeal to a wider market.

Though speaking of Splinter, I have an idea how you could twist the knife into him even further now that he's lost his daughter AGAIN.
