Memetic Drabble - a forum game

Well, this is my first post in this subforum. I couldn't get this idea out of my head, and was debating whether or not it belonged in Forum Games or over here...

Anyway, the objective is simple: Write a short paragraph based on a meme of your choice. Anything goes as long as it makes sense.

"Are you sure you can't do anything about it?" I muttered, staring at the thick bandages that swathed my mangled joint.

"You're lucky we were even able to save your leg, young man." The healer's words were harsh, and colder than the winter winds that howled outside the hut. "If that arrow had hit a major artery, I doubt you'd still be around to complain about the injury. Even so, it looks like you'll be walking with a limp from now on."

I sighed. My adventuring days had come to an end.

I flicked through the channels on the holo-vid box. Just 'reality' shows, stupid people shouting at each other about lie detector tests, and unfunny z-list celebs on panel shows. Even the weather reports we 'enlivened' by the presenters performing pornographic routines. I realised there was nothing left for me on Theta 5 Blue, the whole colony had gone to pot.

There was a soft knock on my door. "Professor Farnsworth? We've packed your belongings on the shuttle craft. Launch for the Sirius system is in thirty minutes."

Yo no quiero dormir con cada otro mujer, y sin mi carino, yo no puedo vivir sin ella. Ella es demasiado hermosa. Todos los días, Busco una manera de verla, y finalmente ... un día llegó cuando me encontré el valor para decirle, "Te amo". Ella me miró y dijo, "Te amo, tambien". Yo estaba muy feliz. Pero, la mayor parte de todos... dat ass.
