See, at least that would fit with the "we're looking for the best actors" claim far, far better than the actual cast did.

I know I'm very late to this conversation, but I'm going to throw in my two cents anyway. I think James Gunn should direct if they were to reboot it. He has shown with Guardians of the Galaxy that he can balance humor with the "feelsy moments". Besides James Gunn, I really don't know who else I'd want.

If remade...well, I know people wouldn't want white actors, but...JASON ISAACS AS ZHAO. He's a good enough actor to play the same villain in animation AND live action!
