"Yes it was. Don't worry I wasn't under attack or in danger, just had to open a door is all.", Dean said as he looked over the items on the table. "It will be tough carrying all this ammuntion and supplies back to the base, unless we find a cart of some sort. I'll head to the south end and search the bedrooms, so I'll leave this here since its getting in the way.", he said putting the double barrel down and taking out his kriss once again. With a small wave, he turned to keep searching the manor.

Kintra starts to panic a little as she realizes possibly none of the safe-houses in this city are up to military standard. She approaches Dean as he's walking back to the manor.

"Hey I need to contact your group leader urgently."

Ross relaxed as Dean explained what the shot was for. "Alright then. Hey, come back over here when you're done. I've got a plan for lunch before we leave" Ross said as Dean left, then turned and headed for the kitchen.

Afterward, Dean would find the South end to contain technically only one bedroom, the master bedroom. However, it looked like it wasn't being used as a bedroom by the previous occupants; the bed was gone, and in its place was a pile of weapons. It was their armory. A collection of guns and other weapons awaited Dean with hints of being incomplete, probably the result of people grabbing some in a hurry during the battle. Regardless, it was still a fair amount of them.

Pistols included an M1911 of course, as well as a CZ 75 and Beretta 92. There was only one revolver, a Smith & Weston model 65. For shotguns, there were two, a Remington 1100, and a strange shotgun that looked like something out of a video game, but would otherwise be known as the Kel-Tec KSG. Submachine guns included a newer MP7, and a much older navy M50. A g36 assault rifle and M40 sniper rifle completed the collection as far as guns went.

None of these guns had ammo; even the spare magazines lying around were empty. Despite the guns being kept here, the ammo had clearly been over in the living room, as Dean would've seen when he went in there and spoke with Ross, who had been collecting it.

There were a few weapons besides guns in the Southern part of the house too. Three hunting knives, a machete, and a homemade spear made with half of a large pair of scissors bolted*

onto a metal broom handle covered things that were sharp. For bludgeoning, there was a baseball bat, two brass knuckles, a sledgehammer, and most absurdly, a pair of nun-chucks. The last weapon of note would be found in the end table that was still in the room. It might at first look like a metal can, but it wouldn't take Dean long to realize that it was a grenade. According to the labeling, it was an incendiary grenade.

"My leader you say? Okay then, follow me if you will.", Dean said to Kintra as he carry the last of the items from the shed. "If you have anything to say tell him. He goes by Ross and he is the one in charge of our missions.", he said when he had placed everything down. Right before he was about to leave the room, he told Kintra, " If you want, you can help me search the bedrooms after you talk to Ross.", and then a moment later he left.

Looking at the pile of weaponry, Dean had a thought in his head that was unlike him, Oh yeah, show me some love baby., he thought before he noticed what he had just said mentally, That was…rather strange…. He stood still for a few seconds, till he resumed to the task at hand and started examining the guns on the ground. He first checked each gun to make sure they were in good conditionand then organized each weapon into individual lines from handguns to rifles to melee arms. He put his hands together in a prayer saying, "What a bountiful gift we have gained here today." With that he started picking up the cache.

Thanks Firock the line works perfectly.

"Sure I can help with looting." Says Kintra hastily as Dean leads her inside.

Completely ignoring the pile of weapons Kintra turns to the other man in the room.

"Are you Ross? There's a Type 3 just waiting to happen and I think none of the safe-houses in this city are prepared." She looks annoyed at Ross' confusion as she says this.

Ross looked at Kintra, one eyebrow raised as she stormed in and suddenly announced her complaint. "A type three? And what would that be?" Ross asked nonchalantly, going back to the task he was already doing.

OOC: Ok this is going to be my last post for tonight.

"Sorry, I forgot no one else will know military terms around here. Type 3's are basically concentrated attacks, like the Lich attack on this manor." Kintra says, rather agitated she has to explain this to someone.

"Lich attack? I doubt that. We wouldn't be seeing bodies of the defenders if it were a lich" Ross pointed out, putting his hand to his chin in thought. "But you're right about it being concentrated. Clark thinks it was vampires that led this assault and I'm inclined to believe him" he admitted, lowering his hand and turning to Kintra.

"So you think that none of the safe houses are ready for this kind of attack? There's a good chance you're right, but what do you expect us to do about it?" Ross asked curiously, wondering where Kintra was going with this.

Kintra, further annoyed that she had overlooked something and someone else had pointed it out says."This attack could have been avoided if basic defensive measures, like snipers watching the gate from the attic were used."

Dean, in the meantime, was walking back and forth from the bedroom to the living room bringing back an armful of guns every time. When he had brought the last of the items, he had happen to overhear what Kintra said about the snipers, "It doesn't look like there was a lack of security, more like signs of betrayal. When we arrived here there was a gate at the front, but it was still in working condition. It wasn't broken down nor was it locked. I doubt these people would have left it unlocked so it seems as if it had been opened...purposely."

"Well maybe there was a succubus hidden around here somewhere, but whatever happened a warning needs to be sent out." Says Kintra as she remembers just how smart vampires are. Smart enough to place trip-wires connected to grenades on the roof access of the last base she was in.

"A vampire trying to infiltrate a place like this would probably get caught, but a succubus would have a better chance. We don't see many demons around here and we haven't confirmed any succubi recently, but I suppose it's possible" Ross muttered, inspecting the weapons Dean had found with a raised eyebrow as he talked.

"I've also heard a few rumors about a monster worshiping cult somewhere in the city, but I figured they were just rumors. If there is, one of their members could easily get into a safe house posing as another survivor" Ross mentioned as well, picking up the strange shotgun and experimenting with a switch near the back. "But that possibility leaves to question how an infiltrating cult member would get the key to the gate" he added, putting the shotgun down and finally looking at Dean and Kintra directly.

"We've got a lot of unknowns about this situation and I don't know if we can figure out anything more from this place. You're right about getting the word out; without concrete facts there could be a lot of paranoia, but better safe than sorry, right?" Ross said, then looked around for a moment and seemed to realize something was missing. "Blight? I think we've just about got everything here. Why don't you bring anything good you found to the living room, then we'll try to figure out how to get it back" he suggested into his walkie talkie, and looked at the stuff they'd found so far. Dean was right; a cart would really come in handy right about now.

Blight sighed, as he looked through the glove box. He went ahead and took the keys, before heading to the back.

He found the crackers, and, eating one, grabbed the shoes, cards, and the rest of the box, dumping it in his bag.

"Okay. I didn't find much, but I did find a car and a generator. Anybody pay well for pieces of those?" he said into the walkie-talkie, "I can probably strip 'em."

Ross stopped for a few moments after hearing what Blight had to say, and slowly raised his walkie talkie again. "Yeah, parts from both of those should go pretty well... What kind of car is it?" Ross asked, looking at their pile of scavenged items as ideas started to form in his head.

A black pickup... Getting it out of here would be difficult with the clogged roads, but if they could pull it off it might just let them take all this stuff in one trip. "Alright then, cancel coming here; we'll come to you. Don't take apart that truck just yet" Ross said through the walkie talkie, then looked at the others. "Looks like we might have a solution to one of our problems, but it's not gonna be easy. If you've got nothing better to do, why don't you help me move all this to the garage?" he suggested, picking up one of the two ammo boxes and heading in that direction.

Ross soon arrived at the garage, still holding the cardboard box filled with ammo as he headed towards the truck.

Getting out, he folded his arms. "So, what's your plan?" he asked.

"Well, here's what I'm thinking. We can pile everything we've found into the back of this truck, and push it along or maybe use some of that gas to get it moving" Ross started, then let out a slight grunt as he lifted the box up and into the back of the truck. "The hard part will be with how clogged up the roads are, but if we work together we might be able to clear away obstructions along the way. It'll be slow, but we could potentially get this all back before other looters come to this place. Worst case scenario would be that if it took too long, we'd have to hide the truck somewhere and head home, then go back for the truck tomorrow" he finished, turning to Blight.

"Well, that's what I was thinking anyway. Did you have any ideas?" Ross asked, wondering if there was anything he hadn't thought of.

Meanwhile in the master bedroom area, Kintra would eventually find a brown paper bag in the master bathroom, stuffed between the toilet and the counter. It was currently filled with pre-apocalypse newspapers.

Ross glanced over at the door to the garage and was a little surprised to see Kintra walk in with the other ammo box. "Oh, so you're coming with us then?" Ross asked, thinking it would either be that or her taking what she could and going off on her own.

"Best to stay away from them? Why's that?" Ross asked, now imagining just what could make this woman want to avoid people she was previously teamed up with. Potential issues of loyalty aside, there was also the matter of people possibly tracked them down due to affiliation with her; Ross figured it best to try and figure out what he could be getting into by having her on board.

"The big one is a merc of the ruthless psycho kind. He uses a pump action shotgun with high gauge shells, almost no scatter, deadly accurate for a shotgun. He will kill anyone who gets in his way. He has a kid with him about fourteen-fifteen years, this kid has been scared into subbmission and will do anything the merc tells him. Our group leader got in his way once and next raid our leader died and I don't think it was zombies that did it. Now I've got in his way. I should have shot him before I left."
