Especially as the guy from Journey is doing the music, that was one beautiful sounding game.

Indeed. I'll admit I wasn't on board with the orchestra at first, but then I found out who was working it.

And that's a wrap! $723,886 total was raised, no idea how much they got from Paypal. Now comes the wait for the beta/poster.

Just a quick bit of mental maths here. The credits will have about 10000 people's worth of special thanks. Longest credits ever?

This is from three days ago. They did reach the goal that ensured those things today, though.

It was posted since last page...we got into some discussion about it...Shadow Scythe vehemently disagree with the decision...yeah...

The forums are up. But a word of warning, it looks like their server is being absolutely hammered.

Wasteland 2's official site is up. The forum isn't as hammered. :p

Banner Saga Factions announced. It's basically the same game, except multiplayer and combat only. Oh, and free to play.

And Faction's coming out in November! It now has a single player portion that serves as a prequel/buildup to the main game.

Wow, not only free to play but also really applicable to a bunch of different processors! O.o I approve of that second one, too many games I've been looking forward to on PC have proven too advanced for my gaming laptop but I can't persuade my parents to buy me a new one.

It's online multiplayer only, tho. It runs like an iOS app.

Ah. So how does that work, then?

The Steam page has me intrigued.

What's the actual revenue model for this? (he asks as he uses Google to find out)

EDIT: No revenue model for the multiplayer part, it's been Kickstarted. Single-player game will be a regular title.

Playing it right now. It seems to just basically be a tun-based strategy thing only as a sort of MMO, almost.

I'm enjoying it.

Though 50 Renown to upgrade or buy an upgraded dude is quite a few games if you don't win.

That's why they give you the option to BUY it.

It's true.

Although I've started winning a little more, and the daily login streak and achievements all help quite a bit, so I'm on my way to my 4th upgraded team member.
