I was enjoying this game until it decided to pull a Baldur's Gate 2 on me and permanently yank away a crucial team member from me halfway through. Now I don't even know if I want to continue, because this is the kind of stunt that kills the enjoyment in an otherwise good game.

Well, I can at least say that it was good while it lasted...

Loving the game so far. Since it takes place a few years after the second game I decided that my two surviving Echo members, Lady Mac Beth and Professor Heatsink, have continued on to the Colorado mission.

The biggest thing in transition is that Lady Mac Beth lost the awful Manic-Depressive trait. So she's more reliable and STALKER-like than before. Professor Heatsink still fixes toasters and lost the Smart-Ass skill? So, interactions are now down to intimidation and sucking up and being clever is no longer an option?

First of the newcomers is the ATOMIC MEXICAN. Pyromaniac demolitions nut with Weird Science. Need to find him a huge sombrero since he can't start with one like Jefe Grande did.

Then there's Sir Lyonesse, the post-apocalypse paladin; combat medic and the friendliest member of November Squad.

...I miss Chisel... I hope somebody mods in his ghost.
