Before I give my opinion, I want to hear what the rest of you think about this Every year, 800 million industrialized chickens are packed together in cramped quarters, get extremely little exercise and force fed food, so they can be prepared as meat. A philosophy and agricultural economy professor wants to change this. To reduce this fate, he suggests removing the brains of these chickens and hooking them up to force fed machines. He proposes that the chickens would become vegetative and wouldn't have to experience the farming lifestyle, and we could still have our #7 at KFC. This feeding storage, as he suggests, would also make the mest easier to pack and could also speed production, Additionally, he also suggests this same method, if proved successful, could also be applied to cows and other meat animals.

I have a rather intrinsic perspective, but I wanted to hear what everyone else thought first.
