The Ni GHTS thing actually makes sense. Its a shapeshifter. Why not be the vehicles?

What game is that stage from? Billy Hatcher?

Bossa Nova of Briny Air had better be back. Or, even better, remixed/arranged/orchestrated. That's the track that single handedly made me interested in Billy Hatcher's soundtrack, and/or Billy Hatcher as a whole.

Well, well. We got a NiGHTS stage. Watch out for that Alarm Egg.

Oh, that's a Ni Gh Ts stage. Ok. I saw the Egg and assumed Billy Hatcher.

Now that I look at it, I notice that the ground is also in the air. Curiouser and curiouser.

@Known: That was a recurring design element for many of the original NiGHTS stages, to further give them a surreal feel (and also probably so they didn't just use an invisible ceiling to keep the player from flying off into the sky tongue).

Now I wonder how Soft Museum would've looked like as a course. Racers constantly getting stuck in pits their vehicles make, or forcibly being bounced around? [lol]

@Known:...

You've somehow made me think of an idea for a crossover between NiGHTS and American Mc Gees Alice.

Anyway, that track looks like the first stage in NiGHTS. What was the name of that one?

Spring Valley? Not entirely sure, something like that.

Mystic Forest and Stick Canyon was my favorite stage, but Soft Museum would've been awesome.

^^ That sounds like an utterly mad idea.

Fits in just well with us, though. Most everyone's mad here.

@Vertigo: Yeah, it's Spring Valley, Claris' first stage and probably the most iconic out of them all.

@Zeromaeus: the final stage for both Claris and Elliot, set in/based on the waking world city they live in.

Yeah, no. While the tower is pretty iconic, the city itself isn't.
As a whole, Spring Valley is more iconic.
I know for a fact that its the level I saw the most as a child.

I was referring to the stage more, which actually does revolve around the player rescuing Ni GHTS from the tower(in fact you barely see any of the city). Dude Twin seeds is seriously on the cover of the game, appears in the intro and has more story significance than Spring Valley does. They even play a variation the game's theme song in it. Both have been featured outside the game but I'd say Twin Seeds(level) is more iconic of what the series is about, especially considering how much it's centered around the tower.

You spent saw Spring Valley most as a kid(which BTW doesn't make it fact it's more iconic) because it was the easiest and 1st level. I mean it's certainly iconic in its own right, but I wouldn't say the most iconic one in the game.

Beautiful.

I really hoped this would be our all-flying stage, but I'm not complaining. One bit.

Well the concept around the Ni GHTS vehicle is interesting. So it's now shapeshifting into different forms and is driven by an A-Life being.

Ni GHTS could always shapeshift, even in the original game.

I won't lie, I kind of preferred his original look over his JOD one. But at least he doesn't look as bad as car Ni GHTS in JOD.

Ah, another case of characters doing something in the trailer that you totally can't do in the game.

Yes, Sonic did totally homing attack Eggman with a boat.

Looks like Sega ships Sonic/Eggman. Wakka wakka!

Ok, I'll shut up now.
