Just A Face And A Caption
Alternatives, go!

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.It's not Just A Face And A Caption. The problem is that it shows the trap smashed down all the way, so it's hard to see.
Rhymes with "Protracted."So it's just a smashing thing and a caption.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Second "it's not Just A Whatever And A Caption"; it's unclear what that is, but it's not literally impossible to identify why it's an example without being familiar with the source. I think if the image were exactly the same but more obviously a smashy thing (maybe raised? dunno) it'd be fine.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I prefer the Prince of Persia image, even if it's not quite what the trope description describes.
In fact, maybe we should just use that picture and alter the description to include cutting-objects as well as smashing things.
edit: Done. Picture works fine now.

The current picture isn't quite JAFAAC material, but it's still hard to see what it's supposed to be.
The Prince Of Persia picture is much clearer.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Pic of one of those crushing things from Super Mario games?
This guy! Only.. in actual gameplay.

Perhaps not the best shot, but that's one of the three sequences that gave me nightmares during the 16-bit era. (And the other two? *shudder*)

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like that.
Works for me.
Added Guillotine Trap as a redirect.
Fight smart, not fair.@11:
(The fun part was just barely◊ avoiding getting crushed by that final spike on the right when attempting it.)
Come to think of it, the hallway smashers from Galaxy Quest could make a great image too. Considering they served no functional purpose....

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Oooh, nice and crisp
Great.
The Prince of Persia frame is good but IMO that is better. If capturing from gameplay, might actually get a better picture from something Mario won't end up surviving, thwomps and pillars lower and not so much empty space in the middle. Fine as-is though.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The Galaxy Quest scene may have an image, but the Mario World one shows all the elements at once, and in a clear way.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Yeah, Mario is better because it has more elements than other examples.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Yeah, I like the Mario one.
Reaction Image RepositoryThe Galaxy Quest hallway smashers ?
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Seems like the picture from that would just be too blurry. You'd really need a higher definition video.
Yeah, I know.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.From Castlevania: [1]◊
Rhymes with "Protracted."Do we need a crowner maybe? A lot of people already said they liked that Mario one.
