Pic isn't bad, but...: Wine Is Classy

... we could really do better. The wine glass is out of focus and the tie stands out too much. Really needs a better picture.

How well does it shrink/crop? If the wine is too small after that, then it's not showing the trope well.

Okay, that could work.

I think it'd work a bit better at 350 than 250, but I like it.

Please elaborate. I don't think it gains anything by being huge. "Smaller images are better."

It could maybe be a little bigger.

Also, for the record, it was Osmium who found the pic, I just copied it into my post.

edit: On second thought, the 250 pixel version looks good when I preview it on the page. It doesn't need to be any bigger.

I dunno, I just think the wine glass is incredibly small. Nitpicking, and I wouldn't vote the image down over it, but it didn't bother me with the full-size image, yet it does the resized one. Can't really explain it beyond that.

...Actually, looking at it again, it's bothering me with the full image, too. But I really like the image, so... Just stick with the 250px one.

Just for an example on the resolution thing, my desktop monitor at home is 1920x1080, but I am currently viewing this site on a 1024x600 netbook screen. Subtracting the web site header, Firefox UI, and OS UI, a max width version of that image would be so tall I'd have to scroll down to see the whole thing.

I kinda like the original better than the others. The focus is on the classy part, rather than on the wine. On the other hand, without the wine glass, it would look a lot less classy.

The wine glass is small, but the picture is way clearer than the current one. It took me a few moments to even be able to see the glass in the current picture.

So it looks like the second pic proposed by Osmium is the most popular. Should I bother making a crowner, or have we pretty much reached a consensus, and now it's just a matter of getting it looking right?

I'm fine with that pic...it's alright at 250, but personally I'd set it at 275 or 300 px. [/nitpick]
