JAFAAC: Inexplicably Awesome

Like the title says, the current image is Just a Face and a Caption. It doesn't really illustrate the trope at all. Honestly, I'm not sure if this trope can be illustrated.

At the very least, I motion to pull it.

I'm gonna say Keep Until Better Image Suggested on this one...the dragon/lizard/whatever and her sharing a wink gives it a bit of context.

I vote against pulling. I can't figure out what would make a better pic, though.

I'm pretty sure that the official policy for JAFAAC pictures is to Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Personally, I don't mind the current picture. No, it doesn't fully show the trope, but it is at least a real example, and it at least shows part of the trope.

Extraordinarily weak, but not negative, IMO.

It's not really good, but it's not horrifically bad. So I'd say a replacement suggestion would be necessary to pull the image. That You Tube bug in the corner really b-uh, annoys me though.

I'm well familiar with Magic School Bus and I don't get how this image relates to the trope at all. It's just a woman and a lizard winking at each other.

It relates to this trope because it shows the "awesome" part. It doesn't show the "inexplicably" part, but 1 out of 2 is better than nothing.

I think it should, but since JAFAAC by itself is no longer a valid reason to pull, we'll need suggestions.

Hmm I think we need someone who is completely unexplained and awesome to the point where characters inside the work say so.

I don't know if I'm being unclear or what. I hope you guys are getting what I mean. "Awesome" (again, note the quotes) in the sense that it's typically used around here, such as with all the tropes with Awesome in their name and such.

It doesn't show "inexplicably". It doesn't show "awesome". It's JAFAAC. We can do better.

The "awesome" can be inferred to some degree by the woman and the lizard apparently being able to communicate enough to be able to wink at each other in a knowing fashion, which for some would count as being a pretty cool thing. The series, AFAIK, never explains how she and the bus are able to do what they do. It's a weak pic, no one's arguing that...but it works just enough to be a Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

For the nth time I think the image is JAFAAC and doesn't display anything about the trope. My thoughts mirror the thread creator's. We need to look for a better image.

I cannot possibly explain myself more clearly than that.
