This was previously split from Pardon Me Stewardess, I Speak Iambic Pentameter. The old definition was Flowery Elizabethan English, which was moved over to that page; what you're seeing is usage that would have been correct before the split. Old thread for reference

I cleaned up the Comic Books section (which had the largest amount of misuse) and will keep going with the others, but there are a few examples that don't give enough context to tell whether they're about characters speaking in verse or simply Flowery Elizabethan English. Other people will have to look over the examples and see if they recognise the works in question.

I think the examples of this need cleaning up, but due to ambiguous wording it's not entirely clear without being familiar with them.
Several examples describe dialogue as "(pseudo-)Elizabethan/Shakesperean English" - if that's all they are (as in, they arent metrical) these should probably be on Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe.
