The picture is hard to see and doesn't really show she is hiding anything. This is a better option. If we wanted something more in the vein of what we've got, here are some more high res options. a or the right side of b. Finally, this one may be fan myopia, but if you can tell what's going on (hiding pregnancy by having an in-universe eating contest) it might be good c

It's quiet on here tonight; any thoughts, people?

Friday night :)

Hm it seems like the message can be communicated in one frame. Any examples of poorly-hidden pregnancy, perhaps?

Poorly hidden? I dunno, I mean, I could keep looking, but the ones above are about the best (as in most obvious) I could find.

I mean where you can see the actress is pregnant; something that doesn't need a "btw she is pregnant" frame.

[down][down] Ah I kind of mis-read. If it's just the "pose" / illustration of that tactic I don't think those are an improvement.

Either the current image or suggestion c (the eating contest) would be fine for me.

[up][up] Ah, but then how can you tell the character is not just supposed to be pregnant without seeing the show?

Also if we were to go with C, this might be a better version because the contest part is clearer.

[up] I don't see how that shows the trope honestly.

[up][up] No, the first version is better. More attention is drawn to the bump. If the image is cropped so that the food is more prominent on the image, then it might be improved.

And it's the plot that hides her pregnancy in that image. I, uh, just wanted people to know that I knew that.

[up][up]The in-story reason she looks like that is because she just finished an eating contest. Unfortunately, that's not at all clear from the image, so it doesn't really help.

The HIMYM eating contest pics (either, prefer the first) would work fine. Any of the suggestions would work better than the original, for pic quality if nothing else.

The eating contest images are not good. I don't get eating contest from the image. All they show is a pregnant woman. There is nothing in the image indicating that the pregnancy is supposed to be hidden.

I don't really have a preference, but it just seems like any of them would be better than the low quality current image.

Yeah, all the "How I" pics just look like a hungry woman who is also expecting. It doesn't work as a visual example unless you're familiar with the material.

Well, if we are going to go for the same effect as before, I think this one is better because it's more clear and ridiculous looking (plus an in-universe example for bonus points). It will be a bit JAFAAC but less so than the current one in my humble opinion.

I'd use either the middle one in suggestion "This" or the one on the right in suggestion "b."

The "Hot Box" picture with the ham is the best, but the quality isn't very good. The hat is so blurry that you can hardly see it. Does anyone feel like watching that episode of 30 Rock on Hulu and getting a better screenshot of it?

I think the current image is fine. It illustrates the "tactic" described by Hide Your Pregnancy. An improvement would be meta, or like, really exceptional. Anything less is kinda sideways, different illustration but I don't think better.

I don't think any of these suggestions are better than the current image.

I actually like the current image a lot. It's very clear what's going on and it does a good job of conveying the trope at a glance.

Rhymes with "Protracted."

If people really want the current image that's fine, but we at least need a higher quality version.

I like the one the was posted earlier [1] but just the middle image because you can tell if you know what you're looking for.
