He said the next FF he will review after X-2 is XIII.
But he is interested in Versus XIII.
The same thing happened with AVGN and Ninja Turtles on NES.

And a million fanfics were written...I like II...
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Yeah, that reaction is ridiculous. Especially when he himself says he's exaggerating.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteeror you know, with any game yahtzee reviews.

Oh god yes.
Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.To be honest the only FF I've ever truly hated was VIII.
Oh joy, can't wait to hear Spoony say X-2 sucks because of a pole in the background.
Anyway, since we're doing rankings of our own...
IX > X > V = VI > IV > III > XIII > I > VIII > VII > XII > II
Decided to leave out spin-off's and all that for simplicities sake. Funnily enough, though, Crisis Core is my second favourite FF game after IX. VII only beats XII and II because it had better characters. Mostly Zack.
So I'm the only person who likes II?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.The hate comes mostly do to it's bizarre leveling up system.

And a million fanfics were written...He actually says it sucks because you have to give Leblanc an orgasm.
Haven't played it, sorry.

"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerThe "It gets more powerful when you use it more" system that made everybody whck each other instead of the enemy.
And a million fanfics were written...You whacked each other to become tougher? I just kept attacking the enemies most of the time. Was I playing it right?
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.There are some pretty counterintuitive things about it. Like armour is actually detrimental (less evasion, and the only way to gain evasion and the associated stat is to already HAVE it - as in you need equipment in order ot increase it.)
Of the final fantasies I have actually played (Which includes I, IV, V, VI, VIII, X, X-2, FFT, FFTA) the only one I truly hated was X-2.

Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. The strange system for leveling up is not the only reason many don't like II. Someone also had the great idea to litter dungeons with many pointless rooms that only exist to give you ridiculously tough enemy encounters for each 1-2 steps you take. There's nothing in these rooms at all. No chests, nothing.
And, once again, storyline deaths of characters that you may have put time and effort into making useful (and one who doesn't die, but leaves anyway), only to be replaced by underskilled characters, thus putting you at a disadvantage.
The game should have come with a warning not to get to attached to anyone in the fourth slot of your party.
That room gimmick also shows up in the Sealed Cave in FF4. The rooms are different shapes. And of course the gimmick of that place - THOSE. SUWAKODAMN. DOORS. is in full effect even on the doors to those empty rooms.
But what about Dawn of Souls?
I still like it though.
I've liked all of the ones I've played (I, II, IV, V, VI, and a bit of VII, all GBA version).
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Dawn of Souls gives some use, but I never beat it because I just got sick of playing that much FFII.
At least the one plotline death of V did the equivalent of a level transfer to the next character.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Exactly why (from a purely gameplay point of view), I don't care about that one.
I loved I, III, IV, V, VI, and IX.
I liked II and XII.
I'm indifferent about VII, VIII, X, and XIII.
Not commenting on XI and XIV.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!
I liked it but It had it's flaws.
My problem with it is that the bosses take forever to kill.
I hate it when people say they hate something because a comedian said they hated it while they have never watched or played it.
Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.
