You don't want accurate, anyway: You want easy and horny and that's pretty much it.
It's just machinery, designed to fulfill human needs like any other machinery. In this case, its purpose is to fulfill the sexual needs of those too hideous or too socially inept to get laid normally on a regular basis. It's obviously not as good as a real relationship... But it's a step up from celibacy, TBH.
No matter how awful and creepy and disturbing some find it, there's people whose quality of life woud improve immensely with one of those.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.One of us should ask Flyboy for his picture of Joker and EDI, it seems appropriate here.
When you can fuck it.
Congratulations, you just won the thread.

^ A few internets, perhaps?
Anyhow, physical expression is an important part of any lasting relationship, so I'd have to decline any sort of AI related advances until I can fit my dick in a USB port.
Also I'm wondering about this from a woman's point of view. I've never really heard of male sexbots.
I would say it stops being weird when the AI can choose if it wants to stop dating you. If it can't then it's just a glorified sex toy and not a genuine 'other person' you can have a 'relationship' with.
Be not afraid...I think it's really odd and weird, but I see the merits in limited circumstances, all of which involved moderately or severely deformed, disabled, or impaired individuals who, while still needing companionship as a basic human desire, may not be able to find an actual human companion, excluding relatives and/or caretakers.
I don't think a p-zombie (a thing that can "fake" emotions or conciousness or whatever) is a possible construct. The only way to accurately convey emotion in all circumstances is to actually feel (an analogue of) those emotions, AFAIK.

Da Rules excuse all the inaccuracy in the world. Listen to them, not me.
