Once again, sounds like saggy tits. The trope where certain characters (generally old women) are drawn with their tits hanging somewhere down to around their waists. It's not a flattering trope.

I liked Bellybutton Cleavage the most.

(The post I edited out suggested this as a name, then I saw that Shima ninja'd me like a boss).

Or Belly Deep Cleavage.

Also, I would call on confusing low cleavage for breasts sagging, but considering the trope misuse, it's better safe than sorry.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

I think Deep Plunging Neckline is the best. It takes the focus off the breasts and puts it on the garment instead. That might help make examples less creepy.

Belly Plunging Neckline, since it states the length requirement of the neckline. Simply calling it "deep" might make some think it's like Impossibly-Low Neckline.

Navel might work slightly better than belly.

Does the trope require the neckline to go down to the navel? From the current name, I assumed that the neckline just needs to get past the bust.

I think we need to indicate something about cleavage in the name, otherwise, we'll be right back here next time because people added males to the list.

Well I have seen males with clothes with this cut, I think they should count

Yes, a male can wear clothes with this cut. It's just far less frequent but it tends to be for the same reason. Just fanservice for women as opposed to men.

I think it's also more realistic since a guy can reasonably expect a shirt to fit properly without bracing itself across the chest.

This trope doesn't cover shirts though.

It most certainly does. It covers shirts on women. Why wouldn't it cover shirts on men? You can have this trope with a shirt just fine.

I say redefine to include the guys. No need to have two separate tropes just because of boobs.

I actually asked in the OP if shirts should count. I mean, how can a normal style shirt have cleavage? It's not designed that way. Simply being open isn't cleavage, as it's not part of the clothing cut.

It's very easy for a shirt to have cleavage. I am quite confused by your post.

[up]That counts as a shirt? I think that would just count as a top. I mean, it's an example. I just didn't know that would be called a shirt.

I meant stuff like t-shirts, or shirts that button all the way up (something like that was in the wicks I checked).

Those are still called shirts. Shirts that button all the way up can count, if you only button the bottom one or two buttons.

I don't think we need separate tropes for this for men and women. I doubt it occurs often enough with men anyhow.

There are shirts besides T-shirts.
