Is Volume 21 going to be the last one? Reading the chapter titles, it sounds like the last one.

Also, if all of the higher up leave, who's running the place? For example, who's managing the Underworld while the Maou are absent? Rias, Sairaorg, and the others?

There are still leaders of the groups left to run things amongst each faction. Only most of the strongest members left. I don't remember them all but Shiva stayed behind while Vishnu and Brahma left with 5-9 other Hindu Gods for example.

Of course not. Issei even destroyed Trihexa's core but it just respawned unharmed. Then he nearly died because D x D too str for him currently.

Despite what this volume is like, Ishibumi did say that there is another arc, so the light novels aren't done yet.

He also hopes to do a Volume 2 of Slash/Dog at some point.

No. The remaining arcs of D x D will not focus on it. If what I've heard is correct.

The 10,000 years later skip is being save for the sequel series, I believe.

So almost everyone is going to dimension 10,000 years in the future or? Like exactly how how does the 10,000 years happen exactly?

No, not yet. I have a feeling that High School Dx D Bor N's bad rep might end up rebooting the anime, unless we find out otherwise.

It's more the anime original content. The third season had a lot more diminishing returns then previous seasons.

Well I remember reading something that said Season 4 was supposed to come out between This Summer and Early Spring 2017.

I just want to be prepared so I don't get too hooked on a long series.

My main problems with Bor N was no Souna rating game and no Chichigami.

Give Re Zero a try, as well. It essentially deconstructs the Trapped in Another World genre like SAO and Dan Machi.

I saw the first episode of the anime. At some point I'll probably watch the rest and go from there. I need to catch up on the last 1.5 volumes for Dx D first.

DanMachi isn't Trapped in Another World to begin with.

Kirito is too OP for me to take its setting seriously or even believeit deconstructs anything.

I'd rather read the ones about the girl who reincarnates as a spider monster along with the rest of her class reincarnating aswell into that world.
