"I-i guess i have no choice, except give up..."

"I'll kill her" explained Jason to the old man simply, and locked his feet in a stance. Moments later he zipped across the ground, moving like a fast blur in a zig-zag and heading up the hill, reappearing moments later in front of Claire thanks to his super speed; he didn't even look winded. "I will kill her as many times as it takes to free her, angel" exclaimed the hunter, pulling out his gun and firing several shots: two at her head, one each to her other limbs, aiming for the nerves.

For now, that girl is untouc- cough... invincible. Don't ask me why, she just is...

"No! What are you doing?! Stop it........" Claire's body fell to the ground, limp. White mist came out of her and evaporated.

A few minutes later, Claire opened her eyes. Her breathing was weak and hollow, but she was alive. She was free.

All i wanted was...

Ahh, nevermind.

Might as well go to s-sleep...

((I feel bad now for abandoning the old man. Make him stay there though Jason will acknowledge him again, or he does his disappearing act and appears near Jason once more. I want to see more of him!))

"The persistent angels piss me off the most" he explained, reloading the barrel and using a hand to wipe the cloud away. "How do you feel?" he asked, looking back the way they came and seeing the figure in the distance with his keen eye sight. "HOLD ON OLD MAN, I'LL BE BACK SOON!" he called loudly, and ran back towards the old man, now at a normal pace that the revived human was less revived.

"I'm fine... I'm fine..." Claire, the real one, lifted herself off the ground. The wounds were gone, with no scars. "Fancy that... I feel that I've gained healing as well as electricity..." Claire saw Jason running down the hill. "HEY! WAIT FOR ME!" she charged after him.

Harry frowned, wondering if he was hearing things. "Ash, what is in this stuff?"

No reply. Even without looking around he could hear drunken snores. Sighing he put the bottle down, then walked into the hallway and opened the front door.

"So, if you can't die, but your not exactly a revived, what then?" asked Jason, dropping back so they ran at the same pace. "I don't kill ordinary humans, so..." he asked, not really worried about an attack while his defense was down. As soon as an angel or revived appeared it would go into overdrive, give him a massive headache, and allow him to survive any attack.

"Your guess is as good as mine. It's like the angels revived me, but then possessed me... I can't die but I'm not exactly alive... It's like I'm trapped in time or something." Claire ran next to Jason. She envied his ability to run without getting out of breath. Claire had only been running for a few minutes but she was already getting a stitch in her side.

He survived running as a mortal because he began as fit, and they hurried to the old man. "I've only ever killed one immortal, and it took some heavy machinery. Maybe that bloke will know how to put you to rest. Otherwise, I'll just have to bury you back in the ground and leave you there. Best I can do."

"Please don't bury me alive. Which reminds me... I'm trying to think of things to do whilst I'm still alive. I'm so busy trying to die that I'm forgetting how to live..."

Lucy finally mustered the courage to go outside. The conversation from earlier left her confused and frightened. This second chance would most likely give her another year of life. Not much time. She needed to find some way to make the extra time matter. But she didn't have any idea where to start. Maybe a walk and a change of surroundings would help her get started.

"Looks like everyone's starting to act."

"I wonder if any of them can take my place...

"Old man opens door"

You t-t-two? Oh... So, d-d-d-do you- coughcoughcough

"I want answers." Claire grabbed Jason's gun and pointed it at the old man's head "And I want them now!"

Jason reaches out calmly and pushes the barrel down slowly, keeping his cool. "It only kills supernatural things if I'm wielding it" he explained, taking the gun back and holstering it. "In your hands it's a normal gun" he added, looking at the old man, then pulled out the gun again and pointed it at the man. "See, now it can kill him." But then Jason lowered the barrel. "Still, he seems polite enough."

"I still want answers..." Claire sneezed, causing lighting to shoot out her fingers.

Jason leaned back to avoid the lightning, and then lifted his leg to avoid the next stream, resuming a normal stance in just forty seconds or so. "Gesundheit."

"Thank you. I'm trying to tame the lightning, but it just doesn't work." Claire looked up at the sky and, after pondering for a minute, clapped her hands.

Just go... Before you kill each other...

Jason the address and read it. "Funny. He thinks he's a funny guy. So, old man, just another question. You seem to know who I am, and you're also an angelic or heaven being. Why help me?" he asked, pocketing the address. "I will kill all angels and revived humans, this i have sworn."

Time's up

"Cryptic old fart" muttered Jason, and turned to look into the city, standing there a few moments. He could sense the angels, some together and some apart. Whether they were causing trouble or trying to stay in peace, he'd hunt them all down.
