Not that I know of.
Though was kinda thinking of having three "sword" moves that are part Steel-type.
I don't know how they still don't have something like that.
I mean, they have Sacred Sword and Secret Sword, but those are Fighting type moves.

Indeed.
Just about any of the canon moves that involve swords are a type not Steel. (Unless an ability suddenly exists to turn Normal-type moves into Steel-type moves but that probably doesn't count.)
I've wondered what would be good variations of Pixilate and the like.
I was thinking the best ones would be Dark, Electric, and Rock abilities.

Also a move that has a 30% chance of causing fainting if it was a critical hit... that's probably something the AI might abuse. If there is one. Or not. Who knows.

Yeah; I guess the Vresun region has several okay moves of those types though. (Hopefully.)
In other not-really-news-but-probably-still-sort-of-random-news, I guess the time-of-day Legends are a bit unusual.
One represents morning, one represents day, one represents night. All of them Grass-type. Morning has the Fairy-type, day has the Fire-type, night has the Dark-type.
Their abilities change the weather - morning has a fog-related ability, day has Drought, and night has a moon-related ability.
Defog?

Defog would remove the fog.
Though it'd work like weather does nowadays. About 5 turns (8, if holding a certain item).

My fiancée's sister also thought of that, as well as ones for the other canon "Terrain" moves. (And one that makes the terrain icy, apparently.)

Unfortunately, changes to the type chart itself will only be done if it's in canon.
Same thing applies to giving canon Pokémon Mega Evolutions, Primal Reversions or other forms (though apparently not evolved forms), or giving Pokémon with Primal Reversions or Mega Evolutions normal evolutions.
All of those were at request of the member who created and represents the Water-type, in the Vresun region.

Apparently any Fighting-type move that makes contact can remove Petrification, so that wish is sort-of granted.
Brick Break to break obstacles makes sense.
Cut is super-effective to Grass-types in the Vresun region, apparently.
