Senki Zesshou Symphogear

As I understand it, "PROJECT SYMPHOGEAR -next-" is the name of the upcoming era of Symphogear, of which the movie is a single part. There's presumably going to be other stuff, but said other stuff may not be impressive

Oh, so a new generation of idol-heroes then?

The ex-Yu-Gi-Oh director who helmed every season except the first loves using "GX" — Generation neXt — even though Symphogear GX had nothing to do with any new generations (unless you count the daddy issues everywhere). So I don't think the name means anything substantial.

I wonder if the movie project is him going back to remake the first season in his own style.
