Nakamania has been here since 2009 and it is not thriving since it only has 13 wicks and 3 inbounds. It's also named after a now renamed trope.

Support rename. It isn't even real Japanese.

The name is completely non indicative as to what it acually is. I figured "Something to do with True Companions a.k.a Nakama", but it isn't clear what from the name - I figured a work with lots of separate Nakama in it.

So I would get behind a rename.

This isn't thriving, is really common in media, and has a terrible name. I'm all for renaming. Friends And Family Montage maybe?

I think the current name might make a little sense if Nakama had not been renamed, but given that it has a new name and the low wick and inbound totals for Nakamania, I am jumping on the rename bandwagon as well.

On a related note, is it worth it to use a single proposition rename crowner here or would it be okay to go straight to alternative titles for this one?

Hook a rename crowner. Not worth the drama of skipping it.

We should be fine to go straight to alt titles. I doubt anyone will defend this without "nakama" to back it up.

No, we should totally have used a crowner to determine whether this needs a crowner or not tongue

I don't think it made sense even before the Nakama rename. Nothing about the name suggests a montage shot.

22 yeas and no nays already... Should we go for a alternate names crowner now or should we wait?

I'm not a big fan of calling things in less than three days, even if it does seem like a forgone conclusion.

But I think I'd make an exception this time.

AlternativeTitles: Nakamania

Crown Description:

Vote up names you like, vote down names you don't. Whether or not the title will actually be changed is determined with a different kind of crowner (the Single Proposition crowner). This one just collects and ranks alternative titles.
