Oh my god, are you serious? This again? Give it up already.
Personally, I think the main problem this trope suffers from is people liking to brag about how bad someone is, rather than a distinct flaw in the name itself. It's pretty descriptive, actually: someone with no redeeming qualities, a complete monster.
As such, I'd prefer to see some suggestions before voting for a rename. The name has a problem, but I don't want to end up with something that'll just continue the pattern.
All I can think of is "Redeemless Villain", which I think probably isn't as likely to be taken as a badge of honour like the current one.

See my sewage analogy from the OP. Finding ways to cut down on misuse input early on will be more efficient than just cleaning it up only for misuse input to mess it up again.

Two things:
1) If Special Efforts is working on this, then we should clearly wait.
2) Looking for Complete Monster on google returns this and other four pages (from the subpages) as the first results out of 502.000.000, plus another page from TV Tropes and another related page from other site as the second and third results, so the reason for rename should better be VERY good.

Please read Everything You Wanted To Know About Changing Names and do not start a rename thread if the reason is not on that page. They are guidelines, not rules, but they are pretty comprehensive. Also, if you allege misuse, please supply evidence, or an exceptionally good argument.
There is a maximum number of threads in this forum; there is a direct cost to frivolous TRS threads.

As has been pointed out in several discussion threads relating to this trope, its name is often associated with many forms of misuse relating to it. (Notions of it being a "badge of honour" for series they're presented in, etc...) Perhaps getting rid of the old name may help cut down on the input of misuse, making this easier to clean up. (As I've said before, trying to clean up misplaced examples while new ones are still being added is like trying to clean up an area affected by a sewage leak while the sewage is still flowing in.)
The question is whether or not it would cut down enough to be worth a rename, and what kind of new name we should be going for, if any.
