Okay, so just to be sure I don't screw this up, what do I not do with her to lose her stuff?

You get those 4 accessories, equip one and the character has arts and in Tita's case she cant do anything but her Gatling Gun S-Craft without one equipped.

Each Guild house you visit you leave an accessory there, however each Guild has missions in them but the monster kill requests can be done without ever having to visit the Guild house.

Visiting all of them isn't the point of no return, so don't worry about that, however visiting all of them will make visiting Grancel the point of no return.

Okay, can I just say Cold Steel II's soundtrack is amazing? I mean, the rest of the music has kickass music too, but seriously, just listen to this:

I'm practically having an eargasm.grin

It gets so much better, I would link like half the soundtrack as stand outs but that would be excessive so I will just link 2.

Overall though I think Sky 3 has a better soundtrack overall but Cold Steel 2 is almost as good. It helps that my fav non battle track is in 3rd and CS 2 ‘the final choice’

All three titles are due out by September 2018 in Japan.

Can't say I care about the new ports but that portion is very welcome news.

Wow, the Academy sidequest is amazing. Such a serious premise, complete with sneaky sneaky Joshua devolves into hilarious madness as soon as Sieg shows up I love that when fighting Gilbert he gets the regular happy battle theme, as though the game itself only further rubs in how little of a threat he is.

Good you found it, would you believe that that whole quest is optional?

Why it's technically optional is beyond me. It resolves a small character thread and has a lot of nice character moments. Plus I finally figured out where that screenshot came from.

And the bit with Jill freaking out was gold.[lol] I'd love to see her pop in at Thors.

Chapter 8 complete.

With Cold Steel in mind, it's incredible how everything came together in that last big scene. Nearly all the game's plot threads are resolved, with the finale coming up. Crazy that they foreshadowed Osborne so far back. It just makes Olivier such a great manipulator. Now that I know what his real end goal is in mind, I like him a lot more now.

Okay sorry for the...triplepost, but I really have to ask. Does anyone have an SC save before the final dungeon? I screwed things up, I couldn't find the platform that lead to the Industrial Block where you need to ge the cutscene to look for the password then ask Kyle, so I'd now have to do the second tunnel again, then look for the elevator platform, then go back, ask Kyle, then do the third tunnel.

I'm so beyond sick of this section, I'd rather just get to the end result before this frustrates to the point where i'm soured on the game, especially this late into things.sad

Wonder if they're using some of X Seed's PC code, or just inspired by the port.

Also, the final boss of SC is an asshole. Clock up EX, Stone Wall, Morale, healing, and Dead Scream, over and over again.

Also I should know this this late into the game, but can you stack the same kind of buff at least twice? Like two Morales across the board for instance. Also I'm not sure if it's worth waiting for 200 CP for a Moraled Kempfered S-Break, it takes about three turns.

Umm I think that is only a thing in Cold Steel, I cant remember for sure though.

[up][up] Stacking does work but I think it depends on the amount you're trying to stack.

I know there's two different colored symbols each for status buffs/debuffs (I believe they represent 25% and 50% changes to the stat) and stacking an ability that will give you the lower will bump you to the higher.

I'm not sure if there's any effects beyond that point or from stacking an ability that gets you the higher on the first use but I don't think so.

Phiew, after a lot of struggles in the endgame, it's done. SC clear get!

The ending was great, but I couldn't help but feel like it was a bit rushed, then the post-credits scene came along and wrapped up Estelle and Joshua's story perfectly, leaving a great hook for the epilogue that is The Third to finish off everyone else's stories in Liberl. I couldn't be happier with how their relationship concludes, it's still just as endearing and fun to watch as the very beginning of FC.smile smile smile

Don’t worry, The Third’s doors really clean up the ending.

Congratulations! That makes at least two of us who finished SC this month. Got any favorite moments in particular?

The last moments on the Ark were great. I love that the games built up their relationship so that you know Joshua doesn't have to be told what Estelle's thinking at this point, and she's there to pull him out of his depressive moments. It's a thing several stories in media get wrong with relationships I'm glad these games didn't, that the characters are fun to watch in a relationship as they are and that they aren't suddenly boring as soon as the hookup happens.

The destruction was glorious in its spectacle, there aren't many animated moments in these games with the modest budget, but man, when they really need them to count, they definitely deliver.

I also love that Estelle's summation of the big villain speech is basically "Man, you must be fun at parties, but go have your pity party somewhere else."

Also holy Aidios, Kevin you scary SOB. Guess you can say Weisman's very salty over that particular turn of events.

That was the first time Kevin ever really did anything for me. Before then, his only purpose seemed to be a glorified plot device. And then we got SC's ending, and Kevin suddenly became one of the most fascinating characters in the game. Seeing as we got The Third, I'm probably not the only one who shares that opinion.

I always liked him, though I did wonder what his ultimate purpose to the plot was. He had some good moments though before then, shutting off the orbal tank with the Chronos Rod for one, had a lot of funny moments, and was a good source of exposition. Plus I really like priests who break the mold of being stuffy jerks and his qualities basically make him a paladin, so it was easy for me to like him.

Still, this was a great way to open up his character exploration for The 3rd, just when player curiosity is peaked.

Didn't expect a freaking heist plan to be the opening of a Trails game. Kevin's gonna be fun, I can tell already.

Also nothing like fancy new battle and victory themes to give it that new game hype.

Trails From Zero is now 50% done. The team put out a video of the finished intro as a treat. Man, this game looks really nice, like a more polished Sky with a nicer font, cleaner HUD, and looks to be jumping right in to things.

Huh, well if Renne shows up I'd put better than even odds on a couple more cameos.
