Work Page Images: : Suikoden

Some pages of for the Suikoden series have page images, some don't. The main line of the series, however, has this theme in their official cover arts which I think would be very appropriate for page images (they are each a framed shot of the game's many characters). Statuses:

• Suikoden I: Previously no page image. Some time ago I added this◊, possibly a fanart, but I think now the framed shot would be best. Cover art: [1]◊
• Suikoden II: Current page image: possibly an OST cover art◊. Cover art: [2]◊
• Suikoden III: Current page image: a piece of official artwork◊. Cover art: [3]◊
• Suikoden IV: Current page image: a thumbnail of the cover art◊. Cover art: [4]◊
• Suikoden V: Current page image: a piece of official art◊. Cover art: [5]◊

Additional:

• Suikoden Rhapsodia: Previously no page image. I added this◊ some time ago. I don't think there's any equivalent artwork.
• Suikoden (series page): It uses this◊ on the grounds that it features four of the total six main characters as of 2004. This is puzzling, because it cropped an image where all six are visible! I suggest using the uncropped version◊.

Personally I'm of the opinion that adding a series of thematic artworks would be best, and it has the additional value of capturing more relevant characters. However, some of the pages already have decent page images, and if we want to keep some of them, I will arrange to embed the official wordmarks to these existing images.

I'd like some input on which image to use in each page.

I'm always good with using cover art on game pages. I'd definitely support switching out the pic on the series page for the uncropped version.

Uncropped version sounds better than the current.

All right. What about replacing some of the generic illustrations with the cover art?

Sounds like a plan to me. The generic pics can go on an Image Links page on the series page.

All right, seems there's no objection to it. I'll give it one more day and make the changes, along with Image Links pages construction.
