I'm not sure if this will be allowed - we were only able to get rid of the picture on The Wesley when it was finally renamed.
But if it can be pulled, pull it.

Are there any pictures of Scrappy out there that are more indicative of the trope? While I agree that this picture is not the best one out there, I think it would be a shame to lose Scrappy as the page image

Sure this is a trope about a character, but it's an audience reaction to that character, rather than a characterization trope. The picture should help make that clear.
I don't know the link, but there was a Full Frontal Nerdity strip where one guy was talking about horrible things he wanted done to Scrappy.
