Well, it has an intentionally inflammatory title and the OP just issued a superb fauxpology, so...
"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - NarbonicIt was not meant to be inflammatory nor a fauxpology, I sincerely apologize. I am just sincerely an idiot.
Why is this thread not locked?

Let's just put this one to bed.
Go ahead and lock this, I guess, but no religious group is going to control the conversation around here by being outraged or offended by commentary on their particular brand of religiosity. The non-religious certainly get a chance to hear outrageous stuff and offensive stuff from the religious.
Goal: Clear, Concise and Witty
Old Testament God is harsh, yeah. His kill count, both direct and indirect, is enormous, and He also causes people to suffer due to His jealousy. However, nothing is said about what happens after death.
However, New Testament God is supposed to be loving and forgiving, but also introduces the concept of Hell — infinite suffering for finite sin. However we never really see this, which relegates this to Offstage Villainy. There are also the implications that most people end up there.
Which is worse, If anyone has read the Koran, Koran God is welcome to join the argument!
