It's a Visual Pun. That's essentially an automatic Keep Until Better Image Suggested(technically, you'll pretty much get nothing but "Keep Until Better Image Suggested", starting now).
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanNope. Vote to remove, because it's an awful and low-quality pic.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Eh, I'll call Keep Until Better Image Suggested on this one. It doesn't really add much to the page, but it isn't causing problems, so I don't see any reason to axe it.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!This would be a visual pun if it were a trope about indexes. "The trope is about everything being better with indexes, and the pic acts as though everything's better with index fingers. Ha!"
But the trope isn't about indexes. "Index" is just a placeholder, like "trope" used to often be. So this image no more belongs here than it belongs simultaneously here and on The Power of Index, Let This Index Be Your Umbrella and Tastes Like An Index.
Oh, you have a point there.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. This might be better with a two part picture. We show two versions of the same scene. One without one of these tropes, and the same scene with one of them. Might have to be a custom picture though.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Vote to pull the current pic...doesn't really add anything to the page, Visual Pun or not.
We can lock this.
Why? We didn't vote against a pic at all.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The worst thing about the image is that the pun isn't even accuarate becuase the pun is about indexes and the page is an index for the "Everything's Better With".
Support pull.
Update: The votes are pretty much dead even right now on whether or not to pull the pic vs. Keep Until Better Image Suggested, from what I can tell.
Supporting the pull for not adding anything.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!Bump...the pic got pulled a while back by the OP. I don't miss it, but I figured I'd check and see if we wanted to try to do something else or just put it back since there wasn't a strong consensus to pull.
It doesn't show the index at all, not even as a JAFAAC example, and that is a good reason for removing an image.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Clock is set; anyone want the finger back? I don't miss it.

I certainly don't.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.Nobody likes my suggestions in post 5?
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Liking the imageless route best, to be honest.
The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman. This page doesn't actually have anything to do with indexes. That's just a placeholder word.
If this page has an image, it should show "any trope where X is thrown in to a story to improve it even though X does not contribute to characterization or the plot."
Those are cute, but I lean toward imageless still.

Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
The current picture for Everything's Better With Indexes shows a guy's index finger.
Hilarious as that is, the page is not about indexes. "Index" is just a placeholder; the tropes take the form Everythings Better Than X, which is also a redirect for the page.
Can I pull the image? The article doesn't really need an image at all. In fact, were working on killing the snowclones that it lists.
