You can see some dark clouds out the window but IMO there should be more emphasis on the "sky" part of the trope. I found this via GIS. Not great but it shows the trope better (a lot of the GIS results suck for some reason).

[up]The "sky" aspect's even harder to see in the suggestion.

From a super quick search:

Blimp pirate ship

Large ship under attack by smaller ones

edit: And this

Don't think any them would work that well though imo.

Airship Pirates seems like it could work, but I'm not sure if the Jolly Rogers are visible enough after being resized:

Hah, exactly the source I thought off but needs a better pic...

Support for #8.

Best so far but a slightly more prominent Jolly Roger would be nice.

I'd really prefer blue sky, though, it just doesn't feel right if it's at night or dark weather.

Not a requirement, of course, just preference.

I like 8 more. Mostly for the aesthetic value more than anything else, but both are good.

8 is identical to the Dr Mc Ninja suggestion in all ways except that it's prettier, so I'm for 8.

I like #15 better: in #8 the skull & crossbones are hard to see on my small monitor, whereas in #15 they are much clearer.
