I fixed the tag. Remember to use a Wiki Word.
That said, seconding pull. It's nothing more than a low-quality picture of Peter Pan. He may be an excellent example, but I don't recall the Disney movie placing too much emphasis on the fact(which is how I'm guessing most tropers would be familiar with said face).
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanThirding pull. That is awful.
I can't really tell that Peter Pan didn't grow up between those images. At least the images' quality are a little higher, though.
EDIT: Well, I guess he doesn't have much of an Adam's apple in the second frame, but that's still pretty subtle. (Which isn't always a bad thing, of course.)

I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!"You fail to grasp the basic principles of mad science. Common sense would be cheating." - Narbonic
That's pretty good, but the second part is all low quality.
Alt account of Angeldog 2437.Hm... I don't think we can really drift too far from Peter Pan partially because he's the only one who can be shown in the past and relative present.
If the examples are anything to go by anyway, it's bordering on unpicturable.
Agreed.
What's the difference between this trope and Really 700 Years Old?
Emotional maturity mostly. This is a character stuck as a child physically, mentally, emotionally, and sexually. It's a subtrope of Really 700 Years Old.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickPersonality I think they act like kids too in addition to age. (also they dont have to be really 700 years old they could be thirty and still a kid
And Really 700 years old does not require them to look like a kid. IE Elves in Lord Of The Rings.

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Clock is set.
Yeah, best to go with Peter Pan. I'd suggest the Scarlet Sisters, but they can't be given a before-and-after.
I have a message from another time...Alright, the clock's up and we need to move on this. I went ahead and put up the two-panel pic with a caption that addresses the difference between the two since it does more for demonstrating/illustrating the trope than the static pic of Peter. Also, while the second panel's iffy on quality, it's a lot better than the old pic. Locking up.
The image is just nothing more than just Peter Pan. There's no indication that he never grew up based on the image. Pull the image.
