Sumioni - a 2D hybrid of Okami and Shinobi, from ACQUIRE

I'm suprised there hasn't been a thread about this already.

Anyway, this is a quite frankly beautiful looking game coming out for the Vita, published by Sony. It allows you to use ink to both do magic and creat platforms to walk on. Its a 2D hack and slash, but the brush mechanic adds a huge amount.

So far the previews are quite impressed with the ggame, and say it looks really interesting.

Drawing platforms isn't new, though, but it's still nice to see another developer picking up Okami's unique approach.

It hasn't been used in combat before.
