Bought it today, even though I'm on a "no new games until Skyrim comes out" challenge thing.

I like the little game it comes with, reminds me of Animal Crossing and the Hotel room mini-game from the first one.

Just finished it.

Gahhhh! Between this and Unwound Future, they really are upping the Tearjerker quotient of endings, aren't they? :P

I got the game about a week ago. I felt like the puzzles were really well made. I can't remember if there was a puzzle that made me go "Wth? How was I suppose to figure that out?!"

Also, does anyone feel that the game is very generous with hint conies? I had as many as 100 at one point.

I don't get why no one is talking about this. It's a new Layton game. I haven't seen previews, X-Play hasn't talk about it, Game Informer hasn't talk about it.

I started the series recently. Still on Curious Village, but it's quite good.

[up]But other game sin the series have gotten decent coverage.

I've started playing. I have this feeling London Life is going to be addictive in the same way that Animal Crossing was addictive.

Lost Future didn't get much coverage or forum talk either. The games are huge sellers but don't get a lot of attention.

I won't be getting this I'm afraid, DS games are too expensive compared to Steam games, I don't want them anymore. (I traded a PS 3 I won for a launch 3DS because my brother had one, which I regret so so much now. The 3Ds was massively overpriced at launch here and I could use a PS 3 when I move out and ugh...) I wonder what the chances of the series moving platforms are.

Just tried London Life! Very addictive in my opinion.

London Life hasn't been as addictive as I thought it would be. I just don't feel compelled to do anything there.

Main story is still good though.

Well, I'm taking it slow in LL myself; I'm always torn between wanting to get to the next day's quests and earning wealth. :) Still, I'm happily giving out tickets (as the quickest way to earn), though I still can't get the hang of the stupid juggling...!

Still want LL friend codes. :)

I'd put this under Headscratchers, but no head-scratching ensued.

When you first enter the department store in London Life, the receptionist explains how the elevator goes to the various levels. Specifically, we're on the ground floor and the first, second and third floors are above it. It wouldn't be any other way in London.

My immediate thought: if we're in London, why did she call it an elevator instead of a lift?

Well, the series after Spectre's Flute is a 3DS exclusive.
