What's the worst thing you've ever done to a character?

This post, like Grinds' and everyone praising him, has rather lost the plot.

We catalogued what we have done in this thread, not why we have done it. The examples here almost uniformly lack the necessary context to be condemning them as they have been condemned. Instead the critics have jumped to the conclusion that because context was not shared, it did not exist.

You literally lack the knowledge to make the pronouncements that have been made.
