Pretty much. Although it might extend back a little farther since Parallax and Rayner are still around.
As long as we're hoping for characters to show up, I wouldn't mind seeing Guy get added to the show sooner or later. It could make things interesting if Hal's away for 9 months and then gets back to discover that with him away and unable to police his sector, the Guardians found a substitute which just happens to be from the same planet...
You know what's bugging me? Unless I missed something... how is Hal breathing in space in the scene where his ring goes off and he's back in his flight suit and he's running back to the ship? They're on an asteroid or something, right?
Does a Green Lantern Ring allow one to breathe in space even if its too low on power to give you a suit and constructs?
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!Considering that there are buildings nearby, I got the impression that it was a planet with breathable air, if a barren one.
Then I guess that raises the question of how Hal was breathing in an atmosphere that as far as we know isn't anything like Earth's? I guess this show is on the soft side of Sci-Fi hardness (not a bad thing, though)
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!I don't know if there's an official answer, but it makes sense that the ring would have a 'Don't Die Setting' or what have you that still gives them their ability to breath and universal translator even if they can't do anything else with it. Kind of like how at least some laptops will all but shut down a computer when their batteries are next to empty in order to avoid loosing whatever it doesn't have saved yet until the computer can get a recharge.
I actually noticed this and came up with an answer.
After the planet is blown up Hal and Razor are fighting in space. During the fight both of them are covered in a strange glow that matches the color of their rings. While on the planet this glow is absent.
I believe this indicates that the atmosphere is close enough that the ring felt no need to project a shield around him. Now I'm not saying it's optimal for human life but it's breathable for a short period of time.
As for why it has an Earth like atmosphere I shall answer your question with a question. Why not? Oa evidently does and if so many species are mingling and breathing that air with no problems then it stands to reason that most species breath a similar atmospheric makeup.
What the duck happened to the subcategories linked on the top of the pages??!!
What do you mean? I see them.
...
Oh. Wait.
... they put em in a tiny drop-down window to the top right.
........ I LIKED the little icons!
Hmm... I stand corrected then.
I wonder if the Alpha Lanterns would make an appearance.
Yeah they made an announcement. and by they I meant Eddie.
Let's make a TCG!I was pleasantly surprised. The dialogue was especially good, although a lot of Kilowog's verbal play will go over the children's heads.
While they did it for different reasons. I think the Red Lanterns taking the place of the Sinestro Corps was a clever idea. Red plays better as a villain color then yellow. Just as Vader.

Necro'ing this thread to say that the official premiere for the show is March 3rd (along with DC Nation).
You mean it's still alive?
Fantastic.
What's precedent ever done for us?I can't wait for the premiere.
I love Booster Gold.
I have a message from another time...So the new DC Nation trailer has some new GLA footage https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTJ8QwSCCUE&feature=player_embedded
It all looks really cool, but why does Razor have his ring back!?

Presumably, they needed some extra firepower and didn't have a green ring handy.
What's precedent ever done for us?OK, so rage over Razor being Emo Lantern again aside, I rewatched the trailer and it looks like he's fighting Saint Walker! I'm ok with him being Emo Lantern if that means we get Saint Walker!
Calm yourself. All will be well.
"You can reply to this Message!"I liked the "Shake hands" part.
The big question though, are they just gonna replay the pilot on March 3rd or are we gonna have to wait for an actual new episode?

You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!If we're going by what happened to Young Justice, we'll probably get the premiere split into 2 parts a week apart from eachother.
OK, I was dicking around on Animation Magazines site, and I found this article and it had a few screen shots of a future episode. The article itself doesn't talk about the episode the screencaps come from, but they do reveal more of Aya's robot form, as well as some Star Sapphires helping the Green Lanterns (and Razor) fight off what appears to be Proselyte. http://www.animationmagazine.net/tv/welcome-to-the-emerald-knights-reboot/

I'm pretty sure the last ~8 years of Lantern Mythos are basically untouched.
