For the sake of Naming Consistancy: Hurricane Of Puns

It out to have a pun as a name. Think about it. We've got Just for Pun, Punny Stuff, A Worldwide Punomenon, Pungeon Master, and Chekov's Pun. This is the only one without a Pun as a name that would actually make more sense as a Pun.

My suggestion is Punderstorm.

I am pundering whether this thread is punnecessary.

Seriously though, "I think we can do better" is definitely, definitely not a reason to rename a trope. If you have an actual problem with the name, we can talk. In the meantime, I'm sure we have more important issues to discuss.

With only 1000 TRS threads opun at any time, I think we really ought to focus on tropes that have some actual reason to be renamed. "For the sake of naming consistency" is not one of those reasons.

While I agree that it is not necessary, (nothing about this site is), it would keep it in tone with the rest of the Pun tropes without making it more difficult to understand.

And on the topic of "real issues," please consider that for a number of tropers, ANYTHING can be Serious Business.

We don't go around renaming things just to add puns. Renaming takes effort.

Yeah "this name is okay but we can do better" isn't good enough at this stage of the game. As well as the 1000 other threads, there is plenty of other work to be getting on with.
