So, you guys are pretty awesome. But I keep forgetting to spend more time here, and this corner of the forum moves pretty slow.

So I thought I'd make a universal page to share everyone's social connection sites! Devaintart, twitter, tumblr, anything. We all get to know each other,

How do you have 8,000 views for 86 deviations?

I don't know? I'm not even sure if that's doing well or poorly as I have no frame for comparison. I just upload things and use it to keep in touch with my sister and friends from art college and a few folk from forums. I don't pay it much mind.

Deviantart, Flickr, Tumblr. Flickr has the most pics, Deviantart has really old ones and ramblings, Tumblr has the most recent ones.

It's also dependent on how long you've been on dA, I guess. My own sadly neglected dA page. We did actually have a webpage index for this subforum, but it was eaten by the archive monster.

@AHR - How long have you had the page? I think it's been 4 years, almost 5, since I signed up. I might have had more time to accumulate. I also used to have more deviations up but I deleted the very old ones out of shame in '08 and I've done some minor clean-up since then.

Otherwise, I have no idea.

Pageviews are pretty meaningless. If you're a fantastic artist, you're guaranteed to have many, but for those of us who are middling, they can vary without relation to ability. The sort of art you draw (style, subject, fanart etc.), the number of deviations and how often you post, your activity in posting comments and adding favourites, and the groups you join will probably have a much bigger effect on pageviews than your ability. It's rather sad, particularly if you're just starting out with traditional art (or even worse, if you're posting stories), and finding it difficult to garner comments that can boost your self-esteem and thus motivation.
