Many problems: Perhaps You Were Expecting A Trope

There was another thread for this trope made about a half a year ago, but it didn't result in anything happening. Which is unfortunate, because this trope has some serious problems:

1. The usage stats suck. 15 wicks, 26 inbounds.
2. It uses "trope" as a placeholder. And as someone pointed out in the previous thread, it sounds like Subverted Trope.
3. It's not even a real trope. It's a Stock Phrase.
