Well this is mainly to ask about this picture, as I've really been racking my brain trying to figure out where it might be from (or if it's just original art), but I also figure this can be a general thread for asking such questions. Sort of like a "lost and found" thing.

No, I'm not asking about finding a show that I can't remember what it's called. I'm asking which show this picture came from, if any. There is a difference.

The art style looks a lot like Hunter X Hunter, but haven't seen that series I couldn't be sure. Maybe something by the same mangaka, though.

That is most definitely not Yoshihiro Togashi work. Hunter X Hunter doesn't look like that even in the anime. This picture has somewhat of a shoujo tint to it.

Apparently, the author is Shiki Douji, who drew Full Metal Panic. Try looking at his list of works.
