Beware The Batman

Apparently, those that bought the Season Pass on iTunes have been getting refunds from the incomplete season.

Not only are they killing the show, now they're pissing on its corpse.

And we're surprised by this?

I was expecting them to air the rest eventually, even on a terrible slot at a bad time. At least the other shows they mistreated got their episodes out.

This time, they're taking great measures to make sure no one sees them.

I've said it before and i'll say it again: Cartoon Network has become a channel for pointless comedy shows with a idiotic sense of humor

Getting fired for not having any idea what they're doing, apparently. The genius behind the reality/non-animated programming push got canned in March.

I hope that with a small glimmer of hope that there'll be a movie with closure for this done in a different style. It would help people get interested in the series and give satisfaction to the fans. Same with what happened with Turbo Fast.

As mentioned AGAIN and AGAIN, there's more than 13 episodes. We don't know if it will need closure or not. We need to CN to actually finish airing it to determine that first.

If the show does air again, but at 6 am or some early time without notice, what are the chances of it being caught by a large enough number of people? Then again, I'm not sure that will help bring back the show.

Hopefully the new exec in charge will steer the channel back to the proper road.

I've given up on it being back. Production already finished a few weeks back and they've moved on to other projects. I don't care where they air them. Airing them at least allows digital releases of the episodes such as iTunes, PSN and Xbox stores, Amazon.com, etc, as well as the DVD/Blu-Ray release. They probably won't reach a mass audience, but at least they'll be available for anyone to view them.

Which is why the whole iTunes refund deal pretty much squashed ANY hope of the show being aired by CN at all anymore. At least they had the decency to finish off the episodes for YJ, GL:TAS, Symbionic Titan, Generator Rex, etc. This show didn't even get that chance.

I really have to wonder what went wrong with the show, especially considering that this is Batman, who's pretty much a moneymaker. I doubt the Aurora shooting had that much effect.

This is getting really ridiculous... no matter how much they hate the show, CN must release the remaining episodes in some form sooner or later. Right?

I guess now we just have to wait for the episodes to leak or whatever's going to end up happening.

Word from Tumblr is that Toonami is going to be airing Beware the Batman now.

Finally! At least the guys at Toonami would show a lot more respect to this show than Cartoon Network.

In fact, I kinda don't care if it's fake news or not, my point still stands.

Well, here's to hoping Toonami advertises the HELL out of Beware the Batman. They are awesome at that IIRC.

Harvey Dent as Two Face. Ra's is one thing, but tell me Two Face isn't a big name in Batman's enemies.

I knew they'd cave sooner or later. Just surprised Bane and Joker don't show up.

They did say they were going to use a "Big Five" villain with a "D" in their name. Everyone assumed Riddler, but I always thought it could be Two-Face as well.
