There was a II? O_O
Uh... yesh. But it's a game, not an anime. The anime and game, Valkyria III, has cameo of characters from the past two games since they are Gallia's Special OPS.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuIn the beginning, where the enemy soldiers shot flares up for the purpose of finding the special soldiers and then they found them standing dramatically on the roof why didn't they shoot them instead of gasping melodramatically in their direction? Bam. Game Over.
...and now I have just killed a few catgirls. Sorry about that.

I think it's because of the Nameless Squad being composed of criminals

The game is translated, have the VC fans here played it yet?
Trying it in paces. Not so bad, 'crept for some words overshooting the box boundaries.
Oh, it was translated? I wasn't aware. Hmm.
The OVA is out and we are once more thrusted(sic) into (un)familiar territory, now as special ops instead of a regular squad.
Which makes the anime all the more fun since we can get to see some of the "unrecorded" events from Valkyria Cornicles I and II. I never did see an episode where Squad 7 got captured in I so it's nice to see Welkin facepalm every now and then. And Isara is still alive! Good.
