I dunno. I tend to shift based on various arguments I hear, and statistics, and facts, etc. I'm not a particularly secure person, though.

Yes- the stable people who shift their views embrace uncertainty and doubt as part of their beliefs.
Basically, acknowledging that you can always be wrong, and never believing anything 100%.
This is also sometimes called "being open-minded", although that term has been abused and molested pretty severely.

Are doubts and uncertainties necessary for a person to change their perspectives and views? Many groups and organizations often rely on people vulnerable to uncertainty to boost their numbers by offering stability and comfort through their beliefs and attitudes. My biggest question to all this is - can a person have a stable view of life and a confident outlook while changing their beliefs and perspectives?
