I have to ask, why all the background? Unless it's supposed to be a Meaningful Name (of which I disapprove), I don't see why it's relevant to picking this guy's name.

I sympathize with the above. Picking a name just because it sounds cool is treading on thin ice as it is, doing so with a japanese name is like jumping up and down on it with golf cleats.

Hello, I am trying to think of a name for a japanense character of mine. He is a mountain climber(Age:45) who traveled with his son(Age:13). He decided to climb Mt.Fuji just to view hastu-hinode (The first sunrise of the year). He was killed trying to save his son. It was 2 hours before sunrise. Can anyone think of a good name for him?
