It was clear his blood magic was not doing anything significant, so Atrocitus decided to let Armani, Mordin, and the Doctor have room to work. He was unsure of the Doctors helping out, as he cannot help but feel their medical expertise was dubious at best, they were the best they had at the moment, and mere bed rest did not seem to be a good enough cure to the Red Lantern for whatever is effecting Korra.

Thn their employers then came calling. Literally calling for them. This never happened before. There was the faint hope that the two Gods were finally treating the overall mission with the amount of seriousness as needed, but Atrocitus doubted it. Both Armani and Mordin initially refused to go until Korra was healed. He respected conviction like that. However, they decided to go instead, leaving the Doctors to Korra's care.

The Red Lantern elected to be one of the last to leave, staying until at least Elsa left. He walked up to Korra. "   NO, you cannot   ," he very very sternly said to Nitori before semi-gently shoving the kappa away. The gift was a symbol of the young queen's growing control and ultimate acceptance of her powers, and it was gift that literally was forged from love and care Elsa had for the Avatar. The Red Lantern was on a knife's edge of keeping himself punting the kappa straight through the walls of the arena to the surrounding body of water outside for such a display of complete disrespectful avarice.

He immediately calmed down as he knelt down to Korra. "While I was helping to keep the internal bleeding at bay, I could not help but glimpse into your future through your blood," Atrocitus said. "You fully recover from this, no worse for wear. You shall bounce stronger than ever, as with all hardships you have faced before. However, it will be a long while until then. It would take a month at least, a decade at most, but you will recover. Steel yourself, and trust in your friends. Hold onto Hope, and have the Will to enact it. This world is lucky to have you as its protector. Best of luck to you."

Atrocitus then stood up and turned for the portal. Admittedly, what he said to Korra was a bunch of overly sappy spiel for him, but Korra needed all the encouragement necessary. And sappy does not equate with lies. He was confident the current Avatar would pull through this.

Gough listened intently to the unfamiliar voice booming commands in his mind.

"Another quest? It seems there is much to do before out endeavors are done."

He rose to his feet and proceeded towards the portal, following the sounds of the others' footsteps.

"It's about fucking time. Well let me say, it's been an absolute endurance test. So long, assholes!"

Gavrill stepped into the science portal, flipping the bird over her shoulder at the world's residents.

Jack was finally ready. His bike was prepped. The Gator Tooth ached for action.

The Chaser lowered his goggles over his eyes, anticipation for the upcoming battle.

The portal opened. He revved up his bike.

"LET'S FUCK SOME SHIT UH - "

It was then the other members of the science team started to come in through the portal. Confused he cut the engine and lifted his goggles up. His teammates would find him sitting on a large, soupped up motorcycle, built like it could take on an army and combined Urza's sleek, angelic design aesthetic with enough dakka to make any Ork worth their salt proud.

"Did......I miss out on the action?" he awkwardly asked.

Ryuko

When Ryuko stepped foot on Team Science's Base, she was greeted by the sight of a motorbike that looked ready for war being revved up. She covered her ears and saw the occupant of the bike look at them with a confused look in his face, asking if he "missed out on the action".

"In one word, yes. Where the hell were ya?!" she answered back to Jack.

Okay, the first thing first thing on the other side of the portal was someone on a motorbike loudly proclaiming that he was ready to fight. Well, not so politely...

"Entirely. You're one of the other... 'Seekers'?"

Why did the universe have to have so many people with the approximate personality of Bass? At least this one was capable of speaking in an indoor voice.

"Aww, come on!" B.B. Hood yelled at the voice telling them that they had to leave now. "Don't we get a break?"

Maria looked over at Seiga, then looked over at the Nevermeltice, and then looked at Elsa as she left through the portal. She rubbed her arms a bit to warm up from the cold of Elsa. Perhaps Maria could ask Elsa for a Nevermeltice thing to give to Seiga.

However, Maria frowned at the message. Last time, they were pulled from a mission immediately was when they had come to this world the first time to face the Daleks, and they had to return to this planet for a similar issue and already, between Asdrubael Vect and Vaatu, the Sifuri Hunt was getting dangerous.

"You know what," Maria joined Atrocitus to prevent Nitori from buying up the Nevermeltice, and picking up one of the bills. "Why don't we let Korra keep the money?"

"It is not like any of us can use... yuan where we are going, and it could help to fund her recovery as a gift from the Seekers," Maria suggested to Korra, but turned to Nitori. "Besides, you could just ask Elsa to make you another necklace on our next mission."

"Our teams seem to be working together more often than not nowadays," Maria frowned slightly, putting the bill back. "Korra... I know you can get through this. You're a fighter. You fight until the very end. This might be a different sort of fight that you are used to, but it's still a fight you can win."

"Doctor... Doctors," Maria began, looking at the two pleadingly. "You make sure she can get better... When we return, I want to see her well again."

"I suppose this is goodbye for now, Korra, but I think we'll see each other again," Maria began walking away, but stopped and smiled knowingly as she passed Asami, though she talked to her in a lower tone than with Korra and the Doctor. "She'll need your help to get through this, too."

After that cryptic remark, Maria headed off into the magic portal. Meanwhile, B.B. Hood waited next to the science portal for Sokka and would leave when he did.

Magic Base

Maria returned to find that they appeared to have gained quite a few members during the mission, and there was one, Princess Kitana, waiting at the base.

"Um, right, anyone who doesn't currently know what's going on just stand over there," Maria pointed at a spot nearby for Kitana and the others to stand. "Explaining what is happening will go faster if we do not have to repeat ourselves, okay?"

The Goodbye

"Is it too late to change teams?" Kara joked as most friends she had made today were from magic team.

"Goodbye Asami, " she hugged her

Goodbye doctor, thank you for listening to me. I hope one day we can see each other again.

And finally she tried to hug Korra without harming her " Those times we had on The boat as brief as they were I won't ever forget you. No matter the universe don't forget you will have a friend in me.

" Rather than goodbye let's say this is "until next time," she told the doctors, Korra and Asami.

"So soon, huh?"

Sasuke saw the portal for the Magic Team open up.

He eyed the Science Team members preparing to move out. He decided to do the same and leave, following after Gough entered through the Magic portal.

Urza was inclined to agree with Loki's remark, though he did nothing to correct the false assumption that he was not, in fact, preparing for precisely the outcome suggested. So he merely took the excuse of exiting the portal to move away from the Asgardian and back towards his own allies. That was when he caught sight of Korra, being fussed over by all and sundry. The planeswalker, as he had told them before, was no healer, so he merely watched and listened. Some of the other team displayed abilities he had not seen before and knowing their capabilities would be valuable if and when they came into conflict. And in the end, this plane was safe. Whether Korra lived or died was not such a concern, particularly given the cycle of reincarnation here. Still, he would prefer that she lived. It would be easier for everyone.

When it was his turn to say farewell, he had only a brief nod for Korra and a few words.

"I am pleased you live, Avatar. If you are alive, possibilities exist. Remember that."

The greater part of his attention was turned towards the Doctors. While Korra was the guardian of this plane, they were the powers that might be relevant in the future, elsewhere.

"If you have the time," he told them, "Look into a weapon called Sifuri. And seek me out should you find anything. Things here are not as they seem."

Inclining his head in a goodbye, he promptly turned and left the plane. There was nothing left for him here. The only thing that truly mattered was in his pocket. He briefly entertained a thought of giving it to one of the Doctors, but decided against. That might draw too much attention to them.

Upon arriving back at their base, he gave the battle-ready biker a single look and told him,

"We may be leaving again quite soon. Keep your weapons ready."

Kitana was not one accustomed to following orders, particularly from one who she did not even know the person. She was highly tempted to ignore the woman who spoke. But she was in an unknown realm, and it would not be wise to risk angering those who may or may not rule it over petty slights.

So she walked over to the designated area, backing up into it so that her closed fan remained hidden from view behind her. As for her other fan, she lowered it to her side, keeping it open and ready to use at a moments notice, should these unknown people prove hostile.

"I have done as you asked. Now, tell me, what realm is this? Are you the ones responsible for my appearing here? Any if so, why?" She asked in a demanding tone that clearly conveyed she was deeply displeased with the current situation.

Chaika Trabant (Team Magic) - Time To Leave

After waving back at Ryuko, Chaika stared at the two portals with curiosity, but also with a hint of sadness. They were supposed to just walk through it and leave? Just like that? No... she had to at least say goodbye. She knew the voice needed her, but that was something that had to be done. Bolin did not seem to be around, which was too bad, but she needed to at least say goodbye to the Doctor.

"Bye, Doctor," the white-haired girl said, giving the old man a hug in appreciation for all he had done to help them. "Give Bolin regards. Will try visit later. Promise."

If the Doctor had nothing to say, she'd just give everyone else a final wave and walk through the portal Ryuko hadn't walked through. The wave meant they had to take different paths, right?

Vile, back to base

Finally it was time to leave this dump and perhaps time for answers. Vile entered the science team portal and two things caught his eye when he entered one was a man who was seemingly working on a motercycle, seems like he missed more than just the action he had infact missed the whole mission.

Secondly he just noticed that what he assumes is one of his own teamates looked an awful lot like a reploid, albiet more primitive than what he was used to, could it perhaps be a robot?.

Atrocitus' shove was unexpected, and Maria backing him up more so. Nitori wanted to lash out at them, but honestly she could just give up on getting that flower then.

"Oww," she mumbled, curling up a bit, as if to conceal some vurnerability. She gave Korra and the rest a pained look as well.

Seiga found herself rooting for Nitori on this. She might get some fun out of this after all. If Korra gave it to Nitori, and she told Elsa a slightly lapsed version of the story, perhaps the kappa might just get frozen for her trouble the next time the two met.

Nitori was not the sort to deny something if confronted upfront about it either, at least not if she believed she had the upper hand. Which was distressingly often, but hey, that's arrogance for you.

Jack stared at Ryoko for a few seconds.

A beat.

"GODDAMN FUCKING SHIT BALLS AND ASS COCK!!" he loudly cursed, banging on the dash of his bike and ending with slamming his head into the dash.

Another beat.

"I hear ya Urza," he said to planswalker in a dejected tone. He got up from the bike. "Gonna do a double check on my bike before we go....." The Chaser then wheeled away the impressive vehicle, grumbling all the way.

"You know, I can bend ice..." Korra muttered under her breath, before taking the flower in her hands. "Thanks for the gift, though. I'll wear it whenever I can." She said, ready to tuck it in, before the sudden bump of a bag of money being dropped on her feet startled her. "Woah. That is a lot of money."

"A lot of money?!" Varrick yelled, suddenly springing out from behind the group, rushing over to Nitori even as white cloth covered the upper half of his head. "Yes, I can confirm: this is a lot of money!"

"Thanks for the offer, but... I..." Korra stopped herself, looking at the flower, and then at Nitori. "You can ask Elsa for one, can't you? Besides, the chances of me seeing her in the future a-are very... thin? So I'll be keeping this." She frowned. "I'm sorry."

"I can keep your lots of money, though!" Varrick piped in, his hand already inside the bag.

"Until next time!" The Eleventh Doctor said in a chipper manner, as all of the adults not taking care of Korra turned to say goodbye. Some metalbenders even made a point to shake Toph's hand before she stepped through the portal.

"Uh..." The Twelfth Doctor muttered, squirming underneath Chaika's hug. "Yes. Of course. Goodbye." He said, gently patting the back of her head whilst Clara chuckled in the background. He gave Urza a wary nod and then turned to give Korra another check-up.

"Well now. Look at this, new arrivals!" Loki muttered, nodding at Kitana. "Although we do have some new arrivals of our own that haven't met everyone." He motioned at Riesbyfe and the others. "So perhaps introductions are to be expected. Me? I'll just... move over to the side. Don't bother me."

Team Science

"Hey, Gavrill!" Sokka said as he walked through the portal, approaching the patchwork woman. "Thanks for not lashing out... at Korra, that is. It may not seem like it, but you are an important part of the group. I mean, if it wasn't for you, we'd probably have never left that... awful, super dark world. So, I'm gonna say something a lot of people don't say to you: thanks. Alright?" He said, moving to pat her on the shoulder before realizing he had just patted Gavrill on the shoulder.

Once everyone who needed explanation were grouped together, Maria began to explain.

"We all have been taken from our worlds and put together on a quest to find Sifuri, a superweapon of unmeasurable power... However, to find it, we need to gather pieces of it left on other worlds like the one we just left. However, there are two teams seeking these pieces... Our team which draws our powers from magic, and the other team which draws its powers from science. We do know of our captors, but they rarely if ever communicate with us, unfortunately. Does that help explain things a bit?"

"I am Maria Renard, vampire hunter and spirit summoner," Maria introduced herself to the crowd of people she didn't know.

"Hey, Kappa," B.B. Hood glanced over at Nitori, taking of the jewelry she wore for her date with Sokka. "If you are trying to make money on this adventure, you need to buy jewelry and stuff rather than just getting cash."

Kitana took the information well, all things considered. She was angry, of course. Who was this 'employer' of theirs to dare to kidnap her and throw her into this situation without even so much as bothering to explain the situation, forcing others to speak in their stead? No doubt he would be getting a piece of her mind when she saw him. But there was little point in taking that out on these people. She closed her fans and put them away. It was evident she would not need them here.

"I suppose so. I, as I said, am Kitana, princess of Edenina." She looked over at the one next to her asking for a beer with a look of disapproval. What kind of a person looks to get drunk when faced with this sort of situation? "No, I am afraid I do not have a beer." She said. Then she looked back to the woman who spoke before. "You are a vampire hunter? What, exactly, does that entail?"

Riesbyfe waved Kitana off, cheerfully ignoring her disapproval, although somehow, somewhere in her mind, she felt like she should have been getting very angry instead.

"Eh, fat lot of good you are then, your majesty. Joking, joking."

Then she turned her head to give Maria what might have been called an appraising look if it had been just a little less apathetic.

"What, you hunt vampires too? You don't look like much. Eh, but then, neither do Bow and Crown, so whatever. Lotta fun, isn't it?"

"Yeah, guy, continue busting your face into that bike. That way you'll miss our upcoming mission to wherever..." Ryuko said to Jack, blankly staring at his profanity-laced tirade. After a moment, she crossed her arms and sighed.

"Anyway, what about that piece of that weapon we were supposed to get? 'Sifuri' or whatever it's called. Did we get it or what?" Ryuko asked out loud.

Erza

"Right... Well, if we're doing introductions again, my name's Erza, an S-Class Mage from the Fairy Tail Guild. Or for the time being, formerly of Fairy Tail..." Erza said, introducing herself with a big thumb pointing at her. She then wandered to a place to sit, as she suddenly changed clothes from her armor and blue skirt to a more casual blouse, pants and shoes attire.

"We ought to take a rest while we wait for our next mission. From the sounds of it, we'll be in for a lot of work..." she added as she took a seat.

Maria frowned and crossed her arms when Riesbyfe told her she didn't look like much... She gets enough comments about that back home from vampire hunters. She didn't like getting that comment from an Alternate Universe Vampire Hunter.

"You can probably summon a beer from with the magical light over there, as well as replenish your equipment," Maria pointed to a column of blue light on a pedestal, but then looked over Riesbyfe evaluating her and answering her question. "I suppose so. However, I know of no Stridbergs, but then trusting on what I know from my world does not help that much since I got here."

"Tell me, have you heard of the Belmont Clan?" Maria asked Riesbyfe, curious as to her answer. It was more seeing if she was from the same world as her. A vampire hunter from her world would absolutely know who the Belmont Clan was. However, she glanced over at Kitana when her question of what a vampire hunter is came up. "We, umm, fight vampires and other monsters and undead to protect humans from them... How do I explain one? Well, a vampire is an undead humanoid with fangs that drinks human blood, or at least the ones I hunt do."

"I suppose you've already met Loki," Maria glanced over at the Norse god, ignoring him otherwise for the time being.

"... Really?" Riesbyfe scratched the back of her head, "Just... stuff outta nowhere?" Out of sheer curiosity, she stood up and wandered over to the blue light she'd been pointed to, and stuck her free hand inside, and pulled it out with a can of beer in her hand. Well. For a moment, Riesbyfe contemplated whether it was more likely to be Marble Phantasm or Demonition, gave up a second later, opened the beer, and downed it all in one go.

"Aahh, much better," she sighed, tossing the can away, "anyway, I'm not exactly famous outside of the Church, so you not knowing me makes sense. I mean, there might be a couple of Atlas alchemists who'd know my name, but that's about it, really. Which doesn't mean I'm small fry, before you go getting any ideas! I could be a Burial Agent if I wanted, you know. Well, coulda been."

As she considered Maria's question, Riesbyfe dragged a big black-and-white cello case like she usually carried from the light. "Belmont, Belmont," she muttered as she detached Gamaliel from her arm and reverently stored it in the case, "Nah, sorry. Not ringing any bells."

"Ugh, yeah," Riesbyfe groaned at the mention of Loki, "what a day to meet one of my country's ancient pagan gods. Couldn't it have at least been someone... not a conniving son of a bitch?"

Elsa

Back in the old base. for some reason, Elsa felt a certain comfort, being surrounded by things she was used to. The cottage was still where it was was, the couch was still comfortable, her bed was still well made, the books were still in their disorderly lump from when she had left them.

The bath was still working and as the hot water flowed into the large marble basin, Elsa found that these everyday things were the things that she missed most.

Now if only she could still...

still

still see Anna running down the hallways to her tutors.

Elsa let out a truly weary sigh and pushed her hand through the softly scalding water. Steam wafted up to her face and Elsa realized that it was the small things of life that a person missed most. How cliche.

So much had happened over the last two days, nothing anyone at home would ever believe. So much, crammed into such a short time. New adventurers, no, seekers had joined the fray. New things were learnt, new worlds too. Elsa's mouth slowly twitched into a small smile. She was Elsa, first of her name and first of her world to travel to another reality; now that was what Anna would call exciting.

She and her teammates would have time aplenty to catch up and break the ice(Elsa scowled, realizing the pun). Her captors seemed pretty eager to get them back to base and so it would only be a matter of time before a new portal opened, forcing them into yet another world.

Well. Elsa thought.

That can wait.

Then she put all those things out of her mind till a later date. Right now she simply hoped to get enough time for a warm bath and a good nap.

Icarax

There was nothing to say about the situation that followed my exit from the Tardis. The other groups came back and belated, I realized that there was to be no final battle in which I could revel, or perhaps throw off this murky gloom. I simply stood and observed- a soldier had no time and place for peace, just as peace has no place for a soldier.

Still, I found myself reminiscing on the battle that had befallen me: the furious clash of wills with that wretched Azula and her ultimate triumph over me with the power of the rift. I regret not ending her life while I had the chance, I don't think I would ever forget that. still, what her life must be like after losing the Rift, I cannot imagine. Humiliating, I would assume. The Toa of water who stole the Nuva cube went insane after a while in asylum.

It is a terrible fate to be born sentient but die an animal.

still, my mind does like to focus on details: Azula's agility was impressive for one her age. She had a presence too a presence...like the dead marching on the sand, the dead come, He leads them, the eyes, the lance, the beam rifle. Bright green filling my vision. The eyes, the teeththe fear the fear thefearthefeartheTERROR NO

I shake my head and I feel a frown forming. It would seem that the Pariah...

A sigh escapes me; my double sword twirls in my hand- idle and fretful. It did not taste death today and for that, I am sorry.

It was about now that the portals open; I remember my decision, shocking as it may be, to help my team. Perhaps they would one day understand that I would go to any length to see our captors brought low.

My eyes alight on Sokka, the native (did he just pat Gavrill on the back?). I see that he wears a sword at his belt. Close behind him follows the man that has been mentoring him for the past few weeks. Sam, if I recall correctly. Sam the swordsman. If they are indeed training together, it would be beneficial if I drop in for a visit, if only to test their skills against mine.

There are only certain people on this team I can 'help' after all.

...

I make straight for my forge. They gave us the ability to summon materials, whatever wee need and also allowed us the facility to put those materials to use. Of course the first thing I pulled through reality was Makuta Armor. Lots of Makuta armor. So much in fact, it would destroy the economy back home should I ever send it there.

But I had no such plans. For Makuta armor was what we called Protosteel and it was the strongest substance my world had to offer. Not only that, I could forge it, having squeezed the secrets out of a Nyrah ghost moments before I turned his friends to scrap for their trouble.

Pulling down a lever, I watched as molten protosteel flowed out onto the mold. Then, taking up the hammer with which I will forge great things, I sent a great blow crashing down upon the newly molded sword. Sparks flew and soon, Sokka might have a new sword, if he be worthy.
