Urza glanced over to Armani.

"You hear the spirits speaking. What is that bird saying?"

Korra's team.

That's awful!, How can we help her to regain her body? She asked Armani after he revealed that the bird was Maria.

Then Kara would wave her goodbyes to the spirit, even if she couldn't understand it, he seemed friendly and very patient to her and her out of place questions. Then she would notice Korra waking up after the spirit delivered them.

"Are you ok Korra?" She asked the avatar, while she tried to help her to stand up. "I think we are in that magic library that spirit told us about."

Atrocitus crossed his arms over his face to block the shots, letting the rest of his body to take most of the damage. His let his body acclimate to the pain, and then lowered his arms briefly enough to hack out single shot of liquid Red. The acidic liquid light would hit one Cyberman dead on, possibly exploding with splash damage to cover the others next to it in caustic Light, melting them into slag. The Ryutian was banking on this tactic distracting the long enough for him to start blasting them with more traditional concussive blasts of light.

B.B. Hood, The Battle

"Gold?!" B.B. Hood said incredulously, unhappy about the revelation. "Why is it always expensive metals that kill monsters?!"

"It's never just lead," B.B. Hood pulled out a bazooka from her basket, nodding and smirking. "But explosives and bazookas, that I can do!"

"SMILE & MISSILE!!!" B.B. Hood laughed maniacally as she began firing rockets towards the Cybermen invading from the ceilings, hoping to make as many of them explode as she is able to.

Maria, Outside the Library

Maria did not answer the Ocean Spirit's suspicions, but joined with the Doctor and the puppies in watching the Ocean Spirit sink beneath the swamp. Maria frowned when Urza asked his question.

"Was Urza even paying attention?" Maria sighed, shaking her little redbird head.

Ocean Spirit, Alvin

"Woah woah!"

The 'mercenary extraordinare' briefly lost his cool as he and his group seemed to be swallowed up by a bright light.

Thankfully, not much else followed before Alvin realised that they had reached their destination.

"From the looks of it; where we were headed."

Alvin had replied to the groggy Korra.

The Library, Glacius

Excitement turned to brief horror as Glacius per-used the title of the tome he had the misfortune to find.

("What could this...?")

The alien gripped the end of the cover with his cold digits, and flipped the book open, mentally preparing himself for what he was about to see.

Vile, Spirit Library

Landing on his feet after being lowered by Loki from that shelf Vile felt slightly uneasy about this place, Perhaps it was due to seeing a giant black owl or maybe it was because he felt out of his element. While lingering on those on those thoughts the others seemed like they were moving on, not wanting to be left behind Vile decided to follow after the others.

Whilst following behind Loki Vile was observing his surroundings again, in an attempt to predict where the owl might strick from and where he himself could get the best shots......its was pointless, pointless imagining possible scenarios anyway best to let the group know what he saw now that the majority was in earshot "So guys?" Vile began to address the group or atleast those that were nearby, "I saw this huge bird while I was at the top of that shelf back there, and it might be moving towards us from what I saw".

Ryuko

"Thank me later AFTER we beat them into scrap metal!" Ryuko shouted at Sokka after she slashed the Cyberman in half. She didn't even hear Sokka's suggestion as she made a dash to slash open any Cyberman that came towards the arena from the ground.

Erza

Erza wandered the halls of the library looking through the shelves for a clue to close the rift. Despite searching for books for a while, she couldn't find one of interest or relevance to their mission. She sighed and continued her search, but she overheard Vile say something about spotting a giant bird that was coming their way. She looked over at Vile.

"A giant bird's heading towards us? Any idea what it wants?" she asked Vile while having a hand hover over her sword for safe measure.

Urza spent a long moment examining the vast wealth of knowledge that stood around them, a place of learning and wisdom in this impossible, shifting world. He knew a great deal, but if this place contained any knowledge of other planes, perhaps even of his own...there was much he would give to learn the fate of Dominaria after he left it, and if he had succeeded in destroying his eternal foe. But they were here for a purpose and he reluctantly set such things aside. The spirit that watched over this place knew that they were here, no doubt, and would arrive soon. But not everything here might be as willing to listen to reason.

"Should we wait here?" he asked the Avatar, "Or seek out the master of this place? Did the Ocean have any insight to grant you?"

Chaika Trabant the Wizard - Covering People

The moment the next bullet entered the chamber, Chaika began chanting The Burner once more. Since the Doctor had stated that explosions were a weakness, she was slightly more oriented on how to attack. Lowering the area of effect was a good idea too, as it'd make her consume a bit less magic fuel with each spell.

She looked up for a moment, long enough to see a group of Cybermen headed straight towards her, but before she could react, Lin jumped over her and attacked it, asking for cover. But she could see that other people were also in trouble.

She had to be quick.

"Salimic, elum, alay... Come! The Burner!"

The magic circle appeared on the Gandr's barrel once more, and shot out like it had done before. And then it happened again. And again. And again. By using the spell to target enemies over a smaller area, she was able to use her ammunition more efficiently. Two of the attacks targeted small groups of Cybermen on the rooftops, while the other two were used to assist Lin and Gough, who seemed to be the ones who needed the most help.

She emptied the chamber, and the silver shell fell to the floor alongside the other two, while she loaded her Gandr once more. She had to remember to pick up those shells later, to scrap off the remains of magic fuel that were still there.

"Salimic, elum..."

She'd take care of that later. She had a city to help.

Sasuke initially covered his face and was about to draw out his Kakuremaru when the bright light engulfed him.

But seeing that he didn't notice any hostiles around when the light faded away, he decided to put this away.

"That was fast." Sasuke took a good look at the place.

The ninja ranger went to check the place out. After all, it's a strange place for him. The better he knows about the place, the more he would be at ease.

"I'll go ahead and look around."

Science

-The mekboss looks unimpressed with this most gittish behavior.-

Huh. So dey wuz kronboyz after all. Roight, let's get back to da bawks, we'ze got more gubbinz ta fix it now.

Magic

-Seeing his projectiles lack the force to entirely destroy the Cybermen, Iroh tries a new tactic. He breathes deeply and extends two fingers from his fists, slowly circling them around his body. Sparks appear around them before merging into a single lightningbolt, lancing out at the Cybermen on the roof.-

Science, Arena

No, of course his command signal hadn't worked. That would just be too easy.

Fine then. Showtime!

"Alright, the lot of you!" Elec Man shouted. He weaved around the Cybermen's electric blasts, albeit without that much effort. Sure, he wasn't outright immune to electrical weapons, but it would take more than that to bring him down!

"Such crude machines you are! But don't worry. None of you will last against my lightning blitz, and soon you'll all be scrap!"

Accompanying this statement was another Thunder Beam, again thrown full power, which he immediately followed up by charging towards the Cyberman army, and just before he collided with one, poured power into his constant static field to create a powerful electric barrier that would protect him for a few seconds and -more importantly- do a lot of damage to anything too nearby.

Magic, Spirit Library

Well, that had been a failure.

Riesbyfe still wandered between the bookshelves. Having found nothing, though, she was now wandering back towards the other Seekers - just in time to hear Vile mention a giant bird headed their way.

"Hostile?" She questioned, readying Gamaliel.

Library

"Oh!" Estelle was a little surprised at the Fox's fowardness. Well at least it didn't run away. This would be a good chance to learn a little about it.

Being a bit of an adventurer she didn't go far without some kind of food on her. You didn't want to be stuck hungry out in the wilderness. But she'd much rather give away her food herself than let herself be pick pocketed.

Pulling away she pulled out a few peices of dried meat and held them out for the fox. "There you go little guy."

Team Science, Spirit Library

How to put this... Gavrill wanted to speak with whoever this was privately, and any obvious lies would probably set off alarm bells, so she simply told the genuine truth.

"Well, after what happened in that mountain, there are a few things I wanted to know about the spirits here. And considering everything that's happened, I think you're probably the best person to talk to. Could I have a quick word?"

Team Magic, Arena

Gough grunted in pain, and with his free hand he swiped at the ground around his feet, seeking to knock the cybermen aside and dislodge their chains. With a ponderous motion he raised a foot and stomped down hard at them, anywhere there were no allies that could get trampled by accident.

Republic City

The machine gun Cyberman got hit by Atrocitus' liquid Red stumbled back, the liquid burning its way into his helmet, exposing his innermost circuits for a moment before he fell back, allowing the Red Lantern to fire upon the Cybermen shooting from behind him. At the same time, before they could move, chunks of the ceiling they were standing on flew off due to Hood's rockets, which were taking out line after line of Cyberman.

"Bonnie!" Sokka yelled after taking out one of the Cybermen rushing for the maniacal rocket wielder. "Remember that some people need those buildings to stay up!" The swordsman's eyes followed Ryuuko, as he watched her cut down one Cyberman next to him. "If we close the Rift, the Cybermen will leave this place for sure. We need to come up with some way to generate... a lot of energy!"

Right at this moment, lightning cracks out of Iroh's fingertips and hits a series of Cybermen, throwing all of them off the roof. Their bodies soared over the Cybermen being shocked by Elec-Man's powers, and the ones being hit by bullet after bullet from Chaika. And to finish it off, Gough's stomp not only took care of the Cybermen trying to stab his leg- although their bodies got stuck to said leg via the electric chains- but also made the earth quake.

Electricity... earth shaking... liquid Red... Sokka's eyes lit up with an idea. "EVERYONE!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. "WE NEED TO GO BACK INTO THE ARENA AND ATTACK THE RIFT WITH ALL WE'VE GOT!"

Spirit World

Asami rushed over to help Korra, who gripped onto her and Kara to get her back. "I just had the... weirdest dream. And you were there." She pointed at Asami. "And you." She pointed at Kara, before rubbing her chin. "No, wait, no... it was just so confusing. There was this guy named Wan and he, he... was the first Av—"

The Doctor jumped off the boat, raising his screwdriver in the air and spinning it around. He stared intently at the green light, before smiling at the people on the boat. "No reason for me to do that." He said, laughing. "Come on, come on! We need to go to the library!"

Inside the library, Loki stopped halfway through following Gavrill when he heard Vile saying something about a huge bird. Walking back to the group- and past the fox, who had devoured the meat in one go and was now licking Estelle's hand- he stopped right next to his 'ally', glowering. "That is just ridiculous. Where would a huge bird even fit in this library?" He asked, just as Glacius read the first paragraph of the book, which had been scribbled over, and written in big, red, warning letters:

"Hello." A deep voice spoke up, and if the Seekers near Vile were to look up, they'd see a giant owl spirit looming over them. "I am Wan Shi Tong, he who knows ten thousand things, and you are obviously humans; which, by the way, are no longer permitted in my study."

'Maria', Gavrill and Seiga, meanwhile, were far enough to not notice the whole mess with the bird, which allowed 'Maria' the chance to look at Gavrill with a bit of surprise. "Seiga, if you don't mind... I am going to talk with Gavrill." She leaned in, whispering. "I heard very bad things about people attacking spirits. I'm gonna see if that was Gavrill." That being said, 'Maria' followed suit after the patchwork woman.

Fire Nation

"Not so fast!" The Doctor said, placing his umbrella in front of the Mekboss. "Now, you, my unintelligible green friend, won't put a single finger on my TARDIS, do I make myself clear? The mechanics are far too hard for you to just... throw your wrench at them and expect something to come out of it!"

Sky had already provided some fire support from his Delta Enforcer assault rifle when he heard Sokka to rally up inside the arena.

Without saying a word, he stopped firing his weapon and ran back inside the stadium. If he was somehow hit at the back, his SWAT armor should be able to shrug most of the damage meant for him.

Science

-The mekboss looks surprised for a moment, then laughs the hearty and compassionate mirth of the expert being contradicted in his diagnosis by an ignoramus.-

You'z 'ilarious, 'umie. But you'z also lukky dat bawks of yerz even works. Must be da paint job.

It don't got 'arf da gubbinz it needz ta werk. It didn't even 'ave a steery stikk 'fore we put wun in!

-The mekboss adopts the tone of one having to re-explain the extreme basics of a very simple concept to a heavily brain-damaged snotling or a 'umie.-

A steery stikk, 'umie. Ya needz a steery stikk if ya wants ta steer, stands ter reason, dunnit? Even da flyboyz won't go in da air wivvout one, and flyboyz iz all insane.

So da fasta we get yer gubbinz all fixed up an' reddy ta go da better.

Magic

-Iroh notes the success of his attack with no small amount of satisfaction. Then Sokka starts yelling about attacking the Rift, which seems less certain. He heads for the Doctor, who seems to know more about these things.-

This Rift... Will it react to being attacked?

B.B. Hood

"...Fine, Sokka," B.B. Hood replied, her fun having been slightly ruined, but then Sokka suggested that they try to destroy the Rift which led to B.B. Hood being slightly coy. "I thought you didn't want to blow up the city."

"YOU ALL HEARD THE MAN!" B.B. Hood yelled out to the others as she began running inside towards the Rift, figuring out what Sokka's plan might be. "AND MAKE SURE YOU FIRE INTO THE RIFT!"

Maria

Once out of the boat, Maria explained what she wanted. "Okay, if you see the me in there, that is not me, obviously, but you need to capture the other me, find a way to get that spirit out of my body, and keep that spirit from fleeing."

Atrocitus felt the roof start to collaspe, and he flew up just as the floor under collapse, taking the remaining Cybermen with it. "THERE COULD STILL BE PEOPLE IN THAT BUILDING!!" he angrily scolded at Hood. He then flew down to intercept the main force when Sokka called out to everyone.

"Attack the rift?!? ARE YOU INSANE???" the Red Lantern angrily cried. He faced the main Cyberman attack force and vomit a solid stream of Liquid Red, melting several at a time and leaving a caustic trail of Red for the robotic enemies to stumble upon. He thought for a moment. "Fine then," he angrily relented. "I've have done similarly insane things before." He flew back to the arena, firing blasts of concussive Red Light at the Cybermen as he did.

Science, Arena

"What on Earth would that-!" Elec Man cried, before stopping himself. Of course! Best to secure the rift, first. Pour enough power in, and...

"Alright, then." He muttered, and, electric barrier petering out, prepared to make a dash for the arena. First, he called in Item-2... and jumped right over it, while it flew away in a completely different direction. From there, Elec Man hit the ground running straight into the arena. Though he hoped that Item-2 would serve to distract any potential pursuers, he was well prepared to give any foes in his way quite a shock.

Magic, Spirit Library

Riesbyfe did not lower her shield. That comment about humans being disallowed wasn't particularly assuring.

"You were saying, Loki? Anyway, pleased to meet you, Wan Shi, I'm sure."

Riesbyfe paused for a moment, before adding:

"I'm sure we'd all be happy to leave, if we could."

B.B. Hood

"THE CYBERMEN DON'T LOOK LIKE THE TYPE TO LEAVE PEOPLE ALIVE AND WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR ME TO MAKE GOLD BULLETS!" B.B. Hood yelled back at Atrocitus, when he yelled his complaint with her method of eliminating Cybermen.

Chaika Trabant - Getting Emotional

Upon hearing Sokka's request, Chaika tilted her head in confusion, as she didn't quite know what they would get attacking the rift. That is, before she recalled what the Doctor had said earlier. What they were originally meant to do with it.

They were going to close it.

In less than five seconds, everything but the Gandr was back inside the coffin, and she quickly strapped it to her shoulders before rushing into the arena.

"As for how we close the rift... put some dirt in it. Except dirt in this case means energy."

Energy. Lots and lots of energy. Maybe if they attacked the rift with enough energy, they'd be able to close it before the Cybermen got there. But they'd need as much power as possible. That meant she'd have to use the strongest spell available, but there was something even more important than that.

Chaika quickly began to recall her memories of that day. How she had been wandering through the woods and somehow got warped to Republic City, how she had met the other Seekers, how she was taken prisoner, given the task to save the world, the piloting and accidental crashing of the TARDIS, the plotting with Bolin, the time spent at the hotel, even that very battle she was currently in. How did she feel about all that? The emotions she had gone through had been mixed at best, ranging from joy to fear, sadness, shock... but how did she feel about the whole experience? Happy because she wasn't alone? Troubled because her goal was now harder than ever? Afraid that she wouldn't survive?

At last she reached the area where the rift was located, and lay the coffin down on the floor. But before getting ready, she took a second to take a hand to her chest. Her heart was beating harder than ever, and she didn't quite understand why, but she was sure that it was exactly the kind of strong emotion she needed.

Without another delay, she began to set everything up once more, for one final magic spell.

Ryuko

"Attacking the thing we have to protect? Why does this feel like a really bad idea?" Ryuko shouted at Sokka, slashing down another Cyberman coming towards her. "That and how the fuck can I do so with just my scissor?!" she added with another attack to another slash.    Anything that'll get these things to stop attacking us is a good idea, Ryuko! We'll find a way!    Senketsu answered to Ryuko. After another attack to a Cyberman, Ryuko turned to the arena and made a dash back to the rift.

"I hope you know what you're doing, Sokka..." she muttered while she ran.

Erza

"Er.... hello there." Erza said to Wan Shi Tong as he appeared before her and the group around Vile. She turned over to face him as he said they were in his library. The giant owl spirit also said humans were not allowed in his library.

"Well... we were looking for any hints possible to help us with this objective we have to do." Erza explained. "We mean you no harm, if you can understand..." she added with a slight head bow.

Urza suspected that the Doctor did indeed have a reason to make use of his little artifact and that they would find out what it was shortly. He glanced behind to make sure everyone was ready, then walked forwards into the labyrinth of shelves. Either the master of the house would come to them or they would find what they sought on their own.

Supergirl/ Korra's group.

I hope it wasn't a nightmare, Kara joked to Korra while she helped her as long as she would need it, as everyone got to the library.

She then noticed the bird moving it's head I wish I could understand what are you saying Maria. But don't worry we are getting your body back. I won't let her get away with this, she told "the bird".
